Fitness is the issue Marv isn't it, maybe he is physically clapped out, Heskey has declined as a player recently and fair enough he might help the younger players but a fully fit Owen would be lethal for us

A fully fit Owen would of been lethal in the Prem, but then Duffen scared him off and he went to Man U

Owen has already stated he will go to another prem team and there will be more than a few that would take him, its a non starter really.

Ditto, I rate Heskey. If we get him over you then that's a bonus <ok>

Heskey, yes, definitely. Don't train Mclean, get rid and look for Heskey's understudy.

    Gordon is a m . . .

. . . . we have already looked at better prospects.

Don't throw the Olifinjani (? - pissed) baby out with the Barmby water!

Edit: Heskey is the King of Assists; in this league he will looooovvvveee it and thrive. He will probably score more goals than he has in his senior career. (4 years with the Tigers! - very fit lad thou knows)

I'd welcome Heskey even though he's been the brunt of most football jokes down the years, not so sure about Owen but then you can't deny what pace and quality he had before, our first season in the Prem and watching Owen at the kc he wasn't all that

Heskey wouldn't be a goal machine by any means, but I could see him being a nuisance for us up front and help create space and chances for our other forwards.

People questionning Owen's fitness are massively wide of the mark - there is NOTHING wrong with him physically, it is mentally. He literally has no desire or heart for football, he is purely interested in racing. Choose whether you believe me or not, but this is FACT.

Heskey is an anachronism in today's game, a big bustling centre forward in the mold of Chris Chilton, Martin Chivers, Peter Osgood and the like and I'm afraid the rules of the game have overtaken people like Heskey, Agbonlahor is another, to use their strength to the best results. It seems like the slightest tap these days and the dying swan syndrome takes over, either that or players do a poor show of being human lawnmowers.

Erm, you're wrong. He has an injury that flares up from time to time, which was caused by playing too many games as a youngster for Liverpool. It's a damaged hamstring, interview was with Owen on the radio - so straight from the horses mouth. So your FACT statement, is actually NOT FACT.

I love it when someone puts "FACT" at the end of a statement/ opinion think it actually turns it into a fact, so many posters do it aswell
