Since it was Lambert interested I would imagine it is now a no-go. More likely to end up with Villa than here. CH will have his own targets. He is doing the right thing, going away for a holiday, watching the DVD's and assessing our strengths/weaknesses. Next step is to speak to the players, find out who he likes and doesn't, who he can work with and who he cannot and then look at transfers. I wouldn't expect to hear of any incomings for a few weeks yet (probably after the Euro's). No panic.
 
Yeah boring few weeks if transfers are your thing. Will have to make do watching Ireland outperform England!

Looks likely he will go to Newcastle if interested. Hughton will attract good players but expect most transfers to be in August but before deadline day, as he will make sure he gets the right guys to help you do well next season.

......newcastle have been told to double their offer to £8M
