WE have not heard much about Paul Ince so don't know about that one, would be good I think.
I would not bet much money on anyone as so many are being mentioned.

Yeah see what you mean, it is annoying that we aint got a manager yet and also that we are still not sure who it could be.

I was hoping that the Gills would see something in Carl Fletcher and whisk him away for ever......but not all your dreams come true unfortunately.......I might be a little harsh there,he never had a level playing field (giving everyone else a nine game start)

Less of the "old bugger" please,.we don't mind being a small site.....it's better than the PASOTI/ATD war that continues at a pace whatever time of year it is.

So why no manager yet....doesn't anyone fancy it ?

I was using 'old bugger' as a term of endearment - rather like addressing a loved grandfather - not as an insult < I think I've got away with that ! >

BSG - I take no offence. I'm actually in tune with you regarding rumours. I feel that my source is being paid too much by the club to lay on a substantial bet ( given the odds at the time .) I feel that the wager was very speculative - and was made by someone who does not have too many domestic committments on which to concentrate their money. Despite insider information I wasn't tempted to have a punt < that avenue of pleasure was closed to me following the need for reconstructive surgery on my reproductive organs after a bad bet >
 
Some big(ish) names have been mentioned by all of us on here, hence my worries about the timing of a possible announcement whilst the country mourns a predictable England defeat!
 
An outside shot - the Ukraine manager - at least he has recognised that he has a problem with the centre of defence and both the fullbacks
