it should be published in fourfourtwo or other mags like that.
I'm glad I was able to contribute to it in a small way but all the credit belongs to you!
 
Good read Roller, apologies for not getting back to you, with personal training and DJ'ing I'm barely on the net. But rest assured I was jumping around/biting my nails about 2am Melbourne time for both the Stoke and Citeh games like the rest of you.
 
You left out the part about painting my Westie with blue hoops. :emoticon-0116-evilg
Otherwise that was a really great article.
I've been in match day chat rooms with a number of those other posters and your essay help me get to know them better.

Hi there, just read you're in aeroquipa, I'll be in town on aug 16 or 17 on way to puno. Sadly missing the start of the season due to milestone birthday and bucket lst adventure

Just reading it brings back so many memories of those 2 weekends and i still get goosebumps when reliving Jamies goal, your description was so spot on.
 
QPRNUTS said just about all I wanted to say. I joined in this forum, rather than just reading it, when we stayed up because NO-ONE UNDERSTOOD!! Mr Roller, you're a star, as are all who featured in your article. I'm going to read extracts from this to my wife tonight and say"Do you see?! It's not just me!!"

Hi Melburn, fantastic! If you made it to Arequipa on the 15th you'd be here for Arequipa Day, which is a bank holiday and amazing, floats going through the streets from morning until night. But I guess you may not be able to alter your plans if it's part of a package deal. If you want to meet for a coffee on 16th in morning message me! I'm flying to Lima that afternoon for meetings. You'll love Peru!
 
Don't know if it's worth emailing this to the club, see if they might print it in the first matchday program? I think it deserves to be read by a much wider audience than just here mate!
 
A great read, particularly as I feel like I 'know' the characters in your story. And great to see its turned up some more far flung hoops for this board, too.
