Well it is TalkSport, which is the radio equivalent of the right wing gutter tabloids we have to endure in Britain, so I wouldn't give it too much credence.
 
Is it only me? After the Bent thing I am now in a frame of mind that sys if he stays great, if not we will get a replacement, sad but its how I feel
 
sort of see where you're coming from syd, but at the same time, we sold bent because villa shat themselves and gave us £24m. we may well sell gyan, but it's not going to be at a loss. i'd love to meet the utter gonk who put that story together. i can see the meeting now between journo and editor: "boss! boss!! i've thought of quite a good little story!" "what is it kevin? (bet he's a kevin)" "you know that gyan fella, who scored that good goal the other week?" "go on.." "how about if i say he's going to move to a big european club?" "like who?" "maybe bayern" "interesting, we haven't linked them with anyone in a while" "i know, and, i reckon £12m is a realistic price" "yeah sounds good, who cares what they actually bought him for, or any other facts" "yeah, screw the facts!" gonks.
