With the chance of siggy not wearing a swans shirt, or even kicking a ball on field next year looking more and more likely, who would be a good replacement as an attacking midfielder? Was going to say pratley, just to see how much abuse I would have received
I suppose many others would say it's not official so don't speculate, otherwise the over-sensitive ones on here will get wound up.
Ahhh okay, understood, I am a newbie, let me rephrase that... So speculatively speaking, should Siggy maybe, possibly not be playing for the Swans for whatever reason at all next season, albeit from a complete hunch I have. Who do you think we could realistically look at getting to replace him? (Maybe)
I love to speculate! Id like to see Matt Jarvis! we didn't need to replace anyone in cm but siggy was too good to overlook! I think the money would be best spent in our defence!
Can def see Brendan loaning people out to us, what better way of getting his lot playing total football than having a lesson from our boys
If Dobbie is going to be the man, now's the time. Same for Orlandi. We had glimpses of Orlandi last season, enough to show that he could make an impact, but he's just got to stay healthly to give himself a chance.
What would really set the cat amongst the pigeons is Siggy signing for 'Pool and being offered to us on loan...... an interesting welcome back me thinks! Aquilani needs some drilling into the BR way ...who knows, ala Wiki ...Aquilani is a modern playmaker who is well known for his "point-blank" and "clinical" passes. He also incorporates good vision and plays with flair. He has a knack of making pinpoint passes which allow him to succeed in the midfield position. His preferred position is in the "hole" behind the strikers. His quality is evident in his skill and in his ability to hit 'Hollywood Balls' across the field effectively and with precision. You read it here first!
lol .... can't take the credit! Just looking at the overbalance in the Liverpool midfield and a new style of play! Lets just say, Chelsea, Spurs (and potentially Liverpool) have already seen the value of a top player coming to the Swans. Much rather that, than a loanee seeing out a payday/contract ala Bellamy or an 'understudy' like we used to get. JUst last year we were happy with an Ipswich part player in Priskin! Now we just need Man U/City to join in ( I don't rate Arsenal's squad/spending power!!)
Would he be happy to go out on loan again? he's a good player in his own right and correct me if I'm wrong but he's been around for awhile.I'd have thought he'd rather be settled either with his own club or sold on .
