Lets hope all of these teething problems are sorted before I decide to pay. Cortese has improved everything else to do with our great club but we still have a less then useless ticket office.
Godders, you've missed the important part - are you a Tennants Extra or cheap cider drinker? . That is often an important factor in my choice to walk on by or not outside Waterloo Station....
Mine went through at 5:00 ok - I stuck it on my credit card as I won't have to pay it until my statement comes next month, so problem might be with debit cards? Just a guess though cos I know **** all about secure payment systems
Paid mine at 6:00 on my debit card. No problem at all, so hopefully that means all problems have been resolved. I also like in your account that it shows how much money you have spent on the club, starting with the season ticket purchase. I assume this is part of the loyalty scheme. So when you buy shirts and what not, you get points or something, which will lead to vouchers. If I can get points against my hot dog purchases, i'm going to be quids in!!!
Yeah I know but they are lovely. To be honest, if I have two, half way through the second one, they do start to have a poisonous after taste about them. I do ring my flat mate to make sure we have plenty of bog roll at home.
I thought I had activated my account for the ticket system last month, but although it recognises me it is telling me that I have no renewable products. Bit of a shame really because I am sitting here looking at a 2011/12 season ticket with my name and customer number on it. If this is how good the ticketing system is, Godders help us when we use the new entry system at the first match. (Premier League match though- COYR!)
Just phone through on the 0845 688 9288 wait for all the options and then hang on for the operator. They will sort out your registration problems. Welcome to the Saints board by the way........
Thanks Beddy, I have since found out that because two of us applied at the ticket office in person for two season tickets they were both registered to one of us as the 'lead booker' - a bit like holiday bookings. Anyway it's all sorted now. Cheers
I have now parted with my hard earned pennies and 3 season tickets on the way in next 14 days. My boy's was £100 last year and now he is 11, it has jumped to £350! Ouch.
Block 34 ST holder here, got a serious pissed of mate who adamant that he will not be renewing as he is so pissed of that for our seats it has gone up about 60%. I think it works out £33 per match from £21 We have sat in our seats for the last 8 years and I am inclined to agree that Cortese may have gone too far(Lord knows how much a "Gold ticket" in that area will be!) My problem is that I've renewed already. I need good arguments quick!
The Leihberrs have invested heavily for 3 years at a loss to get us into the Premier League. SFC is a business. We are back in the PL and need more investment, therefore need to increase our income. St Mary's is the same size as last season ergo prices must go up. Choice 1. Support another less ambitious club Choice 2. Pay up Choice 3. Move seats if you can't afford present seat. Choice 4. Buy match day tickets if you can't afford every game. We are very fortunate supporters. I just wish I could get to enough games to worry about the price of a season ticket (had one for about 12 years).
Thanks , I did say good reasons though. not obvious ones! I have bought a ST telling my mate to Pay Up or support a less ambitious team isnt really constructive. Thanks all the same
As I have posted elsewhere, my Group of 5 2 Adults, 1 OAP, 2 kids, in Block 30 have moved sideways to Block 29 and saved £680.00, virtually the same view for a lot less.
Probably not. Wigan is a must (in laws), never been to Emirates so want to do that and my lad wants to go to Salford Rovers away as he has never been to Old Trafford; I hate it there. Apart from the Taibi 3-3 we've always got beat. St James Park will be a minibus trip as a couple of families in our U'11 team are Geordies. I suspect that will be the away games
