With little to discuss right now and with nothing happening here I've found myself wandering onto other forums here. I found this somewhere - can't remember where so thought I'd incude it here to liven things up a little.

What or who would you put in room 101? My original answer (and I haven't changed my mind)was: Camilla Parker Bowles, ManU, Exeter City - the football club and the city in general, people who are cruel to animals/children and terrorists.

Who/what would you like to lock away in room 101?

Why would you be upset at people who are cruel to terrorists ? ( I can almost understand your dislike of children )

I was going to say that alwaysright but then tabbed down and saw you beat me to it. Can see where you got your user name from.

Americans, The whole of the Royal family including the Corgis, most MPs. Jedward as I've just seen them on the news and realise how annoying they are. Closed seasons in football. People who fart in lifts. Oh hang on scrap that one that's me. Christmas.

How very astute of you - thank you for acknowledging that I, whilst being a dick, am indeed, as you succinctly put it, clever.

you've got to have a laugh - we're supporting L2 clubs - and there's no football until Friday.

My 101 room candidates are....not in any particular order..........Politics.....Cameron,Osborne and Boris....reason... how do little rich boys know how the other half survive........Political parties ruling local councils.......Football....Chelsea,Liverpool,Man C and Celtic......Terry, Dalglish and Barton.

European Song Contest (totally meaningless & bias).

And..... PAFC's previous Board of Directors (the trouble they caused).

I could say more, but I don't know how big the 101 room is ?

Civil rights lawyers, the politically correct en masse, tabloid newspapers, anyone who discusses The X-Factor/The Voice/Britain Has Got Talent/The Apprentice/Big Brother/Strictly Come Prancing in a public place, anyone who doesn't like Christmas.

If that's aimed at me Sensible, I regret to say is very well wide of the mark. I have only ever twice been offered hospitality for something I was a) interested in and b) able to take-up due to work commitments and that neither were for football's famous prawn sandwiches.

You'll have to try harder than that Ebenezer.

I hate Christmas for the commercial crap it has become these days plym and notdistant. It is all about spending money now rather than a real family time when people got together. People spend money they don't have so that their kids don't dip out and then spend the next year paying for the last one. Whilst I love my grandchildren to bits and back I can still say they get far too much and don't appreciate any of it for more than a few minutes. As a kid when I got a present it was truely exciting because there were few of them. Was I deprived? Not one bit.

In the mid to late 1940s......my Christmas stocking always had an apple and a orange down the bottom......still a bit of a luxury at that time........it wasn't until the 1950s that the stocking turned into a pillow slip and most toys in those early years were made of wood.

They only gave you a pillow slip because they could see where the stocking thing was heading plym. In the end you just had to join the RAF to continue wearing them..............<yikes>:emoticon-0111-blush<diva>:headbang:
