I've seen a name on two different articles, that I've not seen on here and that's Mark Bowen, now I thought he was Hughes' number two at Quite Poorly Rated, but apparently he is way down the food chain at Fulham!

Thoughts anyone?
 
I think Lee Clark would be good for you, but amazingly he is not 1/1 to be the next Gillingham manager, I am not getting my hopes up as I don't think it will happen as he is such a big manager and I would have thought he would not drop down to League 2 but I think he could be good for you as he should have never been sacked at Huddersfield.
Other than that maybe Gus Poyet or Hughton.
 
Bowen, just like Culverhouse are assistants and coaches really and I don't think we would really want to gamble. Gunn was a disaster so I'm not sure about old boys either. And Lee Clark was part of the peaks and troughs of the Roeder era so he doesn't cut it for me.
 
Lee Clarke would be fantastic for you IMO. I think he is exactly what NCFC should be going for - a quality up and coming young manager who could be with you for years to come. Not sure if it would be too much of a step up however? Thoughts?

how has lee clark managed to acquire a fan club? he was despised at huddersfield by fans and players alike, even though he actually had a pretty decent record results wise! absolutely no way would he be a good manager for norwich.

Playoffs twice with Huddersfield, won manager of the month three times in one season which is a joint-record with Martinez for league one, took Huddersfield on a 43 (yes, 43!) match unbeaten run - the longest in league history - and he also laid the foundations for their promotion this year, which he was very harshly denied participation in. Add to that the fact that he has experience with your club and I think he is a good man for the job. Fair enough if that isn't enough for you, I completely respect the difference of opinion.

We won't talk about his experience with our club. Whilst that unbeaten run is impressive, it says a lot about how he set-up tactically when he couldn't get promoted himself.

There are so many other managers out there that would be a better fit than Clark.
