Its a beautiful morning in Coxhoe this fine Thursday, sun shinning and a definite feel of positive anticipation in the air, hope its good in whatever part of the world you awoke or are preparing for bed.

We have had a week of silliness, skunk baiting, debate and deliberation on these boards but now I feel its time to look ahead, 3 on Saturday and, not for the first time, our date with destiny.

Will Bruce be brave and select form players over expensive, bigger name or over hyped players, who could I mean?

Will the players picked turn up from the first whistle and stay until the last and will the crowd, yes us, turn up with their voices?

Will the players me as aware as we are about the importance of a win and more importantly, will they care the way we do?

I’m sure that 3 points will see us over our past weeks panic, doom and despare. Will see us move back into the top half of the table and will give us that platform we need for the remaining games.

A draw will do little to convince, yes we will hear how that has stopped the rot, got last week out of the system and we move on but none of us will be convinced. A draw is better than a loss they say, in this game not a lot better IMHO.

A loss and oh my god will the panic button be hit, all talk of working hard on the training ground, the players being gutted, how they feel they have let us down and big reactions next week, all of that will fall on deaf ears and the Bruce out posts will explode on these boards.

I’m sure none of us are expecting a nice easy relaxing afternoon, WBA have always been a good footballing side but with a soft defence, Hodgson seems to have injected some steel into that defence.

I for one will feel an unimaginable sense of relief if I leave the SoL at 5 on Saturday with 3 points in the bag, performance,TBH, I don’t give a dam about it, just get me those 3 points please because I so need a good nights sleep on Saturday.

The sun is shining and I too am looking forward to Saturday at 3 o'clock, thank God we're not on telly with those awful ko times <grr>

I'm sure Brucey has been busy geeing up the players and am expecting nothing less than 100% from everyone with 3 points for the lads come ten to five. Life is good.

I'm starting to feel just as I did in the weeks leading up to Keane's resignation (when I unsubscribed from "The Manager's View" email, was sick of the nonsense spouted after yet another poor performance). I honestly don't know where we go from here.

Agreed, got to be 3 points. Did the draw with the Gooners stop the rot?

Maybe form was the wrong word but you know what I mean, lets look at training, look at performance and look at who we are playing and pick the team rather than write, Henderson, bright young local lad---in. Muntari, just brought in with high hopes---in. Sess, new good signing---in, I could go on and I'm not even saying leave them out, just lets stop making them automaticly in.

Yesterday was play time with arsehole, today I cant be bothered with him so will ignore all day.

I don't care how they play as long as they score 1 more than the opposition

The thing is, my source at training (he rings me now he can't get hold of BC) tells me Henderson is absolutely brilliant in training never puts a foot wrong!
