Well who knows !! I read somewhere the kuwait guy could not afford it !!!

Course he can.

You might be confusing the part of his interview where he said he was interested in QPR, but they tried to rip him off by offering a non-controlling stake, so he left.

He's off to Forest and wants Warnock; that's the long and short of it.

Then how come no-one connected to Forest has heard of the guy? Seems like a publicity stunt to me.

A publicity stunt to what end? He's quit Qadsia SC, convinced reputable media sources in Kuwait that he's buying a club, and he's flying to England... just so people will talk about him a bit?! It's possible, but sounds far-fetched.

As for no-one in Nottingham knowing about it, NFFC haven't denied anything, have they? And no journalists or fans anywhere knew about this bloke before the rumours surfaced at the Kuwaiti end on Twitter. The TV interview was where the news was broken. So of course it came out of the blue without Forest people knowing about it.

I've never heard of anyone from the middle east who was involved in business, conducting themselves in the manner some of the names mentioned as possibly interested in Leeds appear to have carried out. I would suggest there is something behind the way in which certain people have spread names around Twitter and via other media and it may have nothing to do with the purchase of any football club.

Brayton, Watford or Nottingham Forest all those names are guessed now to be the next Kuwaiti owner club.

My money is on Brayton <ok>

Cozer from LUST has confirmed there in talks for a full blown take over as apposed to just investment. Problem is, Leeds united is owned by something like 17 different company’s most being offshore, so its taking a while to plough through the books <ok>

Another one off the list ....

Andrew Haigh ‏@AndrewHaigh

Just had it confirmed Chicago-based billionaire Kenneth Griffin and his company Citadel LLC are NOT the American group in talks with
