Dave, the best thing about Paris is the way out and it would be a wonderful place without the Parisians! Yes I have been there and within 5 minutes of being there I sprained my ankle running out of the way of a car who didn't stop at a red light! Impolie!

Whatever the perceptions on here about Paris and the Parisians, at least there are a few safe havens for England fans, and QPR fans. I've been here for two years, and have met some of the grumpiest bug*ers ever, but also some charming people. Once you get past the cars trying to run you over, and the random men who (in front of you on the train) ask your wife to go for drinks with them, it's not such a bad place to live. With regard to football, lets just see which France turns up...and hope it is the France of France vs Senegal, in which case it could be a very good day to be a Brit here.
The French guys I work with here don't reckon France have a team yet, good players but no team! Sweden look the best team in the Group to me and I won't be surprised to see them and Ukraine go through.
Certainly prefer the French squad to England's. Reckon Blanc will make a good manager too. But it's Spain's to lose, again.
