Sorry to make a Matth-esq article but just seen he's signed a one year contract, I personally think it's brilliant, always loved watching him play but my question is what do you United fans think of this? I think that this is great news unless he is being used to plug in the gaps in our midfield. As long as we get that young dynamic keanesque midfielder we need. Scholes will unlock these stubborn packed defences that we usually play against.
It doesn't matter what age a player is, as long as they can still play well. *He may not have the legs anymore to play every game, but even if he's just coming off the bench for the last half hour, he is still capable of changing a game for us.* He is the perfect player to bring on, if were under pressure, as he's so comfortable in possession, and rarely gives the ball away. Plus he gets other players playing around him with the way he can dictate the tempo of a game*
yeah that partnership was great, Scholes would sit back pinging the ball out wide and his trademark brilliant passes, while Fletcher works tirelessly in midfield chasing,blocking and breaking down opponent's attacks. I feel for Fletcher, great player, hopefully he'll get past his illness and come back, we have missed him. on the article, its a great new's he'll play on, he may not start as many games but in the last few months we can see he still got it, he can change the game coming from the bench like against Chelsea when he came on and changed the game. His Passing is just beautiful and great. can't believe Giggs and Scholes are soon going to retire, going to be different feeling when we haven't got Giggs and Scholes on our squad, its not going to be the same. they are great player's to the club.
Pual's got 20 good games left in him, will be tired and make mistakes late in the season but would certainly rather him there, its a complete +
