Look at this lot and you have to wonder how England are going to keep it down to 4 goals:

Goalkeepers: Cedric Carrasso (Bordeaux), Hugo Lloris (Lyon), Steve Mandanda (Marseille).
Defenders: Gaël Clichy (Manchester City), Mathieu Debuchy (Lille), Patrice Evra (Manchester United), Laurent Koscielny (Arsenal), Philippe Mexes (Milan), Adil Rami (Valencia), Anthony Reveillere (Lyon).
Midfielders: Yohan Cabaye (Newcastle), Alou Diarra (Marseille), Florent Malouda (Chelsea), Marvin Martin (Sochaux), Blaise Matuidi (Paris St Germain), Yann M'vila (Rennes), Samir Nasri (Manchester City).
Forwards: Hatem Ben Arfa (Newcastle), Karim Benzema (Real Madrid), Olivier Giroud (Montpellier), Jeremy Menez (Paris St Germain), Franck Ribery (Bayern Munich), Mathieu Valbuena (Marseille).

They will play a five man midfield and eat England and this is a new team.

I laugh every time I see those flags on cars

Great squad on paper, probably less so in practice.

Depends if they all get into a strop, rebel or go on strike.

I watched them on Sunday and they weren't all that. Iceland are ranked like 130th in the world. Although, I agree if that team plays to its potential England could get a thrashing.

Can't agree with that Oddball. France are still another two years away from becoming a team. They were a disgrace at the last World Cup.

I hope England pummel right through them.

Spot on. Nothing to fear with them lads. Oddball the turn-coat is just tryin' to big them up.

They don't don't like it up 'em. (Unlike Oddball and his Brighton buddies! :emoticon-0172-mooni)

But they will confuse him quite easily as they can field an all black team and he wont know which one of them to abuse.

There were plenty of guys on the International thread saying they were either supporting someone else or not bothered.

Wait til the National Anthem is being belted out and football-mania reaches fever pitch. All those Patriotic feelings will come flooding back.

Fu*k the French and the Swedes. The Ukraine are a bunch of Commie wasters.

Ancient Anglia to rise again and go all the way.

Japan/Korea 2002. France, one of the pre-tournament favourites, became the first defending champions to fall at the Group stage of a major tournament, losing their first game to Senegal.

Big names and reputations count for nowt when the ref blows his whistle and we're underway.

I fart in your general direction

LE Maquis won the second world war and still the UK and the US love to bend the truth

Swords I can see him now in his vauxhall Cavalier with his two red St
George's flags at half mast on June 12th

This French team when it wakes will get to the semis

Was that before or after President Vichy handed over all French Jewry to Hitler and joined the Third Reich?

The Vichy and the Parisians are to this day not welcome in my village and many many others I have seen 75 plate cars vandalized in front of my own eyes ... I had dig **** placed on my roof as had a Paris reg car
This is something us English don't understand exactly what went on but it's not been forgotten ... Generation afterwards and the Maquis is still going and taking new recruits each year
    We only remember libration
