"loadsamoney" yet you steal books?... Who's the bullshitter?... I could walk into a rigs job tomorrow, the oil & gas industry are crying out for people in my position, I just don't fancy 2, 3 or 4 weeks away at a time, plus the coin isn't that good. I'll stick to free-lance thanks. ps. Cleaners and labourers work on rigs...
You're right cleaners and labourers do work on the rigs. Well done. Have a biscuit please log in to view this image
For an onshore role with some ad hoc offshore it'll be £30-45k basic with the offshore money added on. About £50-65k in total. Normally you get £100-300 overnight allowance plus 4.5 hours overtime if you're onshore and then go offshore. There aren't many full-time draftsman jobs offshore but they need them for all the P&ID stuff. Basically same sort of deal I'm on. You're onshore mainly but have to be available for offshore trips.
I've been saying I'm going to work on the rigs for ****ing years now. ****in lazy bastard going to properly look into it......one day
They are screaming out for experienced guys now. Massive shortfall in the North Sea because of the money you can make in Africa, the Middle East and Brazil these days.
So when wee Lenny appeals the decision to ensure the 2 bans are running at the same time thats ok but when Rangers appeal a punishment that isnae listed then thats wrong? ie away back to Ireland and tend the crop!
