Got to it's a GCSE! Won't be taking it any further mind. For all those that care in college I'm taking: English Literature, Modern History, Politics and Law. I already take English Lit and History at GCSE I'm an A star in both and got full marks in my first lit test in January which puts me joint first in the country for my age! Which is good as I can't really do anything else and plan to take it in uni. What sort of careers/qualifications have people got on here? Would be interesting to know how peoples working lives have turned out.
I got a B in my Physics GCSE, and my A level too, but considering I was on a C from AS I was really happy. Protip: GCSEs are piss easy compared to Uni.

Not sure I buy that, granted I've not done a levels yet so I'm in no position to judge. However with A levels you get to choose the subjects you want, but for GCSE's you have far more subjects to revise and often you have absolutely no interest in what your studying. I'm a firm believer in the idea that if you enjoy something you'll do far better in it than if you dislike it.

GCSEs are honestly so, so easy compared to A levels & Uni. If you genuinely think don't think there's not much of a difference you're in for a very rude awakening. GCSEs are spoon fed grades.
I definitely didn't say Uni I reckon that's the hardest. I understand that for A levels a lot of emphasis is based on going out and getting the information and knuckling down yourself and obviously the subjects themselves rely on a greater understanding of the subject your studying. That I cannot argue with. What I'm saying is I relish the idea of studying 4 subjects I'm genuinely interested in as opposed to spending my entire school life thus far studying sodding maths which I couldn't give two ****s about! I suppose it varies depending on the person and how the learn, I know many people who told me that their GCSE's were the hardest and many who said A levels were the hardest. (excluding uni)
The ultimate dream was to go into motorsport and become a designer there, but the top teams usually only take AAA from A level. Maybe if I can get a good grade from my degree I might find something there. Luckily it's such a broad degree that I could go into a lot of different jobs with my degree (if I get it, which is easier said than done for me!)
