God people on twitter are really laughing at the 7mil price, i thought it was high but there acting like we just went for caroll

 

You'll notice most are fans of other clubs who've never seen him play, all the Burnley fans on there aren't laughing at it

 

It might be top end, but doubt it is all up front. A lot of the comments are sour grapes...they wouldn't blink if a team like West Ham paid it.

Dann would be alright I think, but nothing special.

 

we need another CB. Jos and Jose won't get through the whole season. I have hopes for Martin (pause for argument) but will Seaborne recover fully?

 

Wouldn't want to sign Scott Dann, any player that's been relegated 2 years running can't be an ideal signing, Blackburn conceded 78 goals last year. Same goes for Roger Johnson

 

saints spent big bucks on an exciting young english centre forward. The clubs biggest ever signing and a major statement of intent.

I think you are right there. None of us know Seaborne's present condition (and neither is it our business) but I am sure he will be given time and support.

Obviously we need a goalkeeper (some debate whether he will be no.1 or 2), but I think we will add another central midfielder as well. A winger of some description seems essential, then JRod. Happy days.
