Sharp really wanted to stay in the North. All it took was one sunny day in late Feb to convince him he'd done the right thing. Personally, I need convincing that Jay Rod is the answer. Come on Dan‽, tell me why you go all girly at the thought of JR coming to SFC..?

You have to admit he sounds more like a footballer than a guitarist.
Be interesting preseason with Adkins trying to decide. Lambert has to start with JRod/Sharp (bit of fence sitting there!). Can Lee be transformed into a winger?
He's fast, strong, and knows where the net is, basically. He will absolutely love playing next to Lambert.

I imagine Jay could fill Lambert's role too, it's not as if he's a physically weak player. Chung also has quite a lot of pace about him too.

Think this is a key reason why we're after him. He's almost 2 players rolled into 1.
This would be a great signing he is a brilliant all round player with the potential to be a world beater. I have to admit to not having seen extensive footage of him but from the few times I've have watched him, he looks to be very technically gifted with the ability to go past people. I don't see him as an out and out striker as such but would be perfect playing off Lambert. Also would be interesting seeing him play up front with Tadanari Lee, the movement would be amazing.
