Finally we can end the rumours about Eden Hazard! Becuase I've Just seen him outside Old Trafford in a Chelsea shirt talking to Roberto Mancini.
Breaking News: Hazard has failed a medical at chelsea!!!
They couldn't get his head through the door!![]()
agree YV.
everyone's going on about "the extra 2 mill for vertonghen". - i am far more worried about how much we'll be spending on the striker/s we're after.
Although remy seems like a good player, everyone was saying similar things about chamakh at the time, and he's hardly set the prem alight in 2 years. 18 million seems like a lot for remy. i've got my concerns over this one, as i don't see him as a replacement for Ade, only an addition. - and an expensive one at 18 mill.
As for Hazard, I hope he flops. apparently he wants 200k p/w? cheeky little c*nt. 21 years old and unproven in the premier league. I really hope that it backfires for whoever gets him. These ridiculous wages that city have set the benchmark with, and the fee's Liverpool have paid for average players, has made the transfer market a joke.
Exactly, we've already seen that Ade links up well with the others, scores goals, gets on really well with our players and wants to play for us so he should be top of all of our lists of strikers to get. As I said on the earlier thread about Ade's Tweet, he'd be our signing of the summer if we could get him on a realistic wage.
so now the transfer window benchmark is at 35 million, for a 21 year old player, who's unproven in the prem, earning £170k a week???

In your opinion lads is it a folly to buy a player when you're not sure who your next coach will be? Suppose he doesn't get on with Hazard what then? Folly imo.
Abramovich has always been in charge of transfers and Terry, Lampard, etc are in charge on the training pitch so all they need is a man to oversee that young players are brought through well which is why they want Guardiola.
In addition his agent, John Bico, who has conducted an aggressive auction has made it clear that he wants a fee of £6 million.
