It is only 2 weeks since the end of the season however I'm getting concerned already.
I don't believe we have a team that can safely stay in the premiership without significant
strengthening.
Diakite and Taiwo seem to want to leave.
Faurlin is recovering. Barton is out.
Kenny may be sold on.
Thats almost half a first team.

Am I wrong to be concerned?

When does the transfer window close and do people think there is a possibility we may end
up with panic signings again..........or do I need to chill?

Help.........

Nothing is happening anyway. Transfers will be announced July 1st as that is the time the contracts officially end so that is the time to get worried.

Also losing Kenny makes us a better side. Same with Barton.

For the first time in a very long while I have no concerns about players coming or going.MH will bring in who he needs and get rid who he doesnt.Keep the faith.

The transfer window isn't open yet. Also, we WILL get players in. Don't worry.

You really are worrying for nothing because this is the first time in 16 or more years where we'll have stability all the way through pre-season and the actual season of Premier League matches. It's the first time in many years that we'll have a proper crack at the Premier League. Bring it on.

The Diakite/Taiwo developments have made me question at this point if QPR actually appeal to many quality players at this time.

it just means players wont take us for a ride, Paladini would have just paid anyone whatever they wanted and thats why we got lumbers with crippling 4-5 year contracts for players nowhere near the 1st team.

I hope wed tell them to take a running jump if either player said I want over 50k as week. We have to maintain a decent wage structure.

chill out belfast, for the first time in a long time i'm looking forward to pre-season, no paladine, briatore or dwarf fantastic, we've got the right men in place this time & in beard i think he's been superb, ok all these rumours & i love them but we are kidding ourselves when we see who's been mentioned, but there's one i wouldn't mind seeing is bellamy you might not agree but think he would be good signing!<whistle>

All we ever needed was to stay up. Now that's done, with a class manager (sorry Neil) at the helm, the quality will drift in. No panic buying etc. Get ready for mid-table finish :-)

It was always about staying up and then seeing serious investment flow. If Sparky thought they were only going to allow him a team to finish 17th again, and on the last day, I think he would walk. Joking aside about his much flaunted ambition (sorry Fulham and thanks for the four points next season!), TF persuaded him to come with promises that would help to realise that ambition.

So, to reassure the OPer, chillax and enjoy the ride!

We're QPR and you expect an easy ride? Where have you been?

Actually think all will be more than fine......
