Yeah much quieter around here now, they have obviously been locked back in their cages, sometimes they do escape and cause a bit of mayhem.

Yeah but if Scally and Hess wanted him and had the opportunity then they would sign him.

dont think they would, be a bad indication towards any prospective new manager that they will have players forced upon them, hence why king etc have also been released!

Yeah but Hessenthaler's job is still to scout and sign players, I know they mean by consulting the manager but if their is no manager in charge then he may approaching him still, anyway, what manager won't want Nouble.

One that would prefer to have his funds allocated in a different position. As a free transfer he makes a lot of sense and that is what will attract league 1 clubs. The swine tried to sign him on loan and I could see Di Canio making the move being ex west ham and all. No use speculating though, we need this manager in place and that'll be another week.

Morning Hoadie - I've had a good nights sleep (no less mad though)
I would be extremely - but pleasantly surprised if Nouble joined The Gills. We surely could not afford his wages and I don't believe it would be a good career move for him. He helped WHU into the Premier - I would expect that he could easily find a Championship club who would (& can) pay him - because even if he came to us on a free transfer, Nouble would probably not want to take a pay cut to meet our budget.

    ps..sorry for being sensible ( I think )

He was on loan at Barnsley after he left us, but I don't know if he got much game time with them.

He played quiet a bit, not many games for the full 90, but some also off the bench, but I would not be surprised if they wanted him.

I dont think we can afford Nouble unfortunately, I was impressed with him and we certainly played well with him in the side, but as others have said I think he will get offers from higher up the ladder.

I believe it stands for `wind up merchant` but you won't find any of those here...we're all self-respecting members of society, albeit Medway society...

Sounds like your get on well with Lenny http://www.not606.com/member.php/1008599-Lenny38 <ok> either that or alwaysright is having an identity crisis <laugh>

ps. forgot to mention, we lost a couple of members recently because they also suffered an identity crisis, so don't be surprised if things tend to appear a little confusing around here sometimes. In my day we used to have tom & jerry as a kid, as we get older things never change its still a cat and mouse game!
