Not sure if this has been done before,

If you had a time machine could go back to watch only one game involving Saints what game would it be?

Mine would be the last game at The Dell, to not only beat Arsenal in the dying minutes but Le God scoring the winning goal as well, the atmosphere must have been amazing! Sadly I'm too young to have ever have seen a game at The Dell but this would be a game that I would love to have been at.

Yours?

Hmmm, Plymouth away would have to be up there, as would the 2003 FA Cup final. But, I think it would have to be the JPT final at Wembley as I missed it!

My Dad always raves about being at the 1984 FA Cup game against Pompey, so I guess I'd like to see what he saw.

Has to be a game I never went too. Would not want to waste it on reliving memories, that's for YouTube. Whilst 1976 is an obvious choice it wouldn't be the cup final, but Mick Channons testimonial. I will skip straight to the party ;)

Was lucky enough to be at all of our classics through the 90's, and we didn't really have any during the 00's, so, yes, it would have to be the 1984 Pompey cup game for me as well.

Hate to be obvious but '76 Cup Final for me. The greatest day of my life (or if my wife is reading this, the second greatest:laugh:). If you are asking about a single moment it would be Tiss's goal against Arsenal. I don't tend to do a lot of crying but there was definitely a tear in my eye when that went in.

Barcelona won't be any good next year, never mind in 2026.
Ok go ahead and tell me who will be the dominant club on Europe in the 2020s, oh wise one.

Even assuming you're right that they are currently in decline (which you probably aren't), how can you possibly know they won't make the final 14 years from now?

Still, it's funny that out of all the ridiculous things I said you chose to argue with the arbitrary choice of team, not that there were 9 goals in extra time <doh>

Without doubt 76. Unless we ever get into europe or top four or something ridicolous that will be our greatest achievement, wish I was around back then!
