Did we learn anything new from last nights programme?

Most of all the stories have been reported about before in the papers.

Again all ifs and buts regarding the tax case and pointing out that Whyte made a balls up.
No ****.
 
Don't think there was much new. Some of it seemed to be taken straight from Leggoland <yikes>

That fake phone call to D&P pr man had me cringeing as much as I do when dev posts one of his 'jokes'
 
It made me realise that we are finished and that Murray is behind it all. What a slimey **** he is. Never once paid for a player from his own pocket.

What about Duff and Phelps? I knew they were in on it right from the start. Disgusting bastards. Hope they all die.

Whyte? Prince of Monaco? He managed to dupe David Murray with a whopper like that? Do me a favour.

So you guys knew that Souness pocketed thirty grand for Tugay's transfer and that the "guarantor" for Whyte was Prince Albert and that Billy Dodds had an EBT despite categorically denying it?

Did you also know that Duff n Phelps knew about the takeover funding?

...and you knew that MIH were in a billion pounds worth of debt?

A season ticket is a must at Celtic park this season , how many league titles are we going to celebrate . The only thing I am not sure is how we do it ??? Probably better start with 2010/11 and work our way back , get the players back from that season for an hour after each home game and celebrate the titles we rightfully won .

im afraid so - you learned that there were definately side contracts which would certainly indicate you will/have lost ftt and have broken yet another sfa/spl rule

most of the allegations have been - the evidence seems to be easily enough gathered now though

didnt see too many ifs and buts. think the d and p thng might be a bit far fetched though - it looks to me like they knew about ticketus but no necessarily as the funding source for the takeover. they did come across as shady though :)

Will Juninho be invited, even though he had a super illegal EBT?
 
not too sure on the whole D&P thing. But you have to ask why was craig whyte so keen on having them appointed as administrators?

with regards to learning nothing new. So you were aware that David murray put less into rangers than craig whyte and also took out over 6 million quid for himself? and that souness was given 30k to buy tugay?

what about the fact that joanna lumley turned murray down?

whyte told us he would sue the bbc after the doco in october, how did that one go? i would doubt the bbc would air the program if they did not have concrete proof.

Juninho , our lawyers noticed his contract was illegal , we paid the tax back . I saw the league table for that season Aberdeen 64 points ,Hibs 63 Celtic 53 points Rangers 0 points if you take double contracts into it.

Celtic paid the tax on his EBT, after reporting it to HMRC. Something Rangers failed to do.

The only case Celtic may have to answer is for not reporting it to the SPL....who are most likely more worried about 80 odd people from Rangers using EBTs.
 
lets be real here

titles wont be stripped - the spl will not do that and i doubt any clubs will care - who wants to win a title retrospectively?

the net result of this might well be, however, that the other chairmen of the spl vote for harsher penalties and that yer man green thinks wtf? and buggers off

My thinking is that if it was so cut and dry, then why bother with a lengthy and (probably) expensive investigation by the SPL?

I honestly don't think I learned much from last nights documentary that I wasn't already aware of. I didn't know the amounts each player/staff received from EBTs but I don't think that is entirely relevant by itself. The use of the EBTs is the important thing.

I never knew how similar Whyte and Murray actually were, in terms of both of them buying Rangers with someone elses money and not investing any of their own time.

I never knew Murray got turned down by Joanna Lumley <laugh> Got me thinking of the mechanics of how it would work. How would Murray get any purchase behind his thrusts without legs? I also wondered why Murray has never given up on crutches and simply used a wheelchair. I used crutches for 2 months and damaged the bones in my palms.

Please look at the accounts of Rangers for the last 15 years. Everything was documented, nothing hidden.

i dont know - if i was to wildly speculate i guess the spl arent being leaked stuff that daly is - clearly someone inside (hiya alisdair) wants the **** storm now

unless its all a tommy style wind up and daly ends up with the king of all riddys

my taigy paranoid glands make me think its almost like someone wants the clubs price driven so low that they can afford it......
