Joe Lea, he's since deleted his account too, after deleting his tweets and apologising for wanting to say something and 'putting it across the wrong way'.

It's worth noting perhaps that's there's no evidence that any of this is true.

It doesn't really seem bang out of order or like he's stepped out of line, he's not actually done anything wrong? Let's not string him up too soon.

The guy who started it all seems like a complete troll...but in fairness if it was true I would want to know my gf had done that.

Not sure how it has escalated this badly but hope Lala's alright.

Youth player should be kicked out tbh, unless it's banter that occurs between him and Ads which I doubt.

Other guy is a tool looking for 5 mins worth of fame,

    Three conclusions:

    1) Youth player should (and I think will) have his contract terminated.
    2) I'd also want to know if my girlfriend did such a thing (assuming it is true) but I wouldn't want to find out on Twitter. The guy that posted it to Adam is a total ****.
    3) I'm gutted Adam has deleted his account, was such an interesting bloke.

Don't understand why this guy thought he had a duty to report it...he's not a friend of Adams. Said had to do it via twitter as he doesn't know him...might suggest it had nothing to do with him (if true). The first four letters in twitter says it all really. Should have to take an IQ test before being allowed an account...what was the youth player thinking!!!

He made friends with Adam's fiancee when she went on holiday to Zante. She told this guy that she's only with him for the money and she doesn't actually like Adam, and she'd cheated on him on the holiday with another guy (and in the past, which Adam knew about). How true this is, I don't know, but there are far better ways to do it than Twitter.

As I said on the Barton thread, Twitter should be banned. I'm not joking either. Is there a bigger waste of time in today's society? Does anyone really care what a a B list celebrity had for breakfast!?

The number of people who's careers/lives are getting ruined by careless tweeting is growing everyday. As for kids, they are definitely getting addicted to their phones - it can't be a good thing.

Ok grandad, calm down, think about your blood pressure!

I don't think this youth player should be released, lots of people make mistakes when they're that young, and he seems to have acknowledged that he did something wrong. He won't do it again.

Unfortunately the amount of time spent on the phone by the younger generation has increased significantly. Whether the actual act of being on the phone for long periods of time has an effect on individuals will not be known for another 20/30 years. It took them something like 30/40 years before they realised that actually smoking is not good for you. Something that everyone takes for granted today.......Oh we know they have done tests and we know they say not, but trust me they really cannot be 100% sure it is after all a comparatively new phenomenon in the scheme of things. So you youngsters will be no different than we were at your age......It looks good, works ok and is convenient. Hell though it is addictive isn't it?

Its got nothing to do with age. Continued smart phone usage stimulates the same areas in the brain as addictive drugs. I read a report recently which encouraged families to do more things together to try and counter this dependence on phones. Guess what they came up with? Watching telly. You've got to laugh.

You can't put the genie back in the bottle, but the thing I hate is the sight of young women walking along chatting brain-rotting stuff on their phones whilst pushing a baby in a buggy. I talked constantly to my son which is why he had a wide vocabulary and an interest in facts by the time he started school. The worst thing is that it is usually the social group whose kids need all the help they can get.

As ever in life there are small people who have to bring more successfull people down because they themselves underachieve. Unfortunatly this low life has ruined the fans interaction with our star player.
Im not even going to think about the story because it is absolutley none of my buissiness Adam doesnt deserve his buissiness to be put out in public especially as he doesnt court attention from the press like some.

Also I hope the first thing Cortese does is rip up that youth players contract, I mean heck imagine being so rude to a senior colegue in a job and to your employers disgracefull.
