So Didier has left Chelsea. Wouldn't it be good for just one year, to have him at Norwich?

He is running through Swindon tomorrow carrying the Olympic Torch, I think I may get out there and talk him into taking a massive pay cut!!

If that fails, abduction, torture and brainwashing seems the way to go!!<whistle><whistle>
 
Pretty certain he's joining anelka in china but imagine him and holt together defences would hate every minute of it.

I fell off my chair when I read in the local rag Drogba was taking the torch through Swindon. Not the obvious choice was it?
 
Shanghai is not a patch on Norwich.

Why would he prefer to live there when he could have the clean, sweet smelling air or Norfolk.:biggrin:

I think it something to do with links via Samsung. They sponser Drogba personaly, Chelsea, Swindon and the Olympics?? I also heard that he lives near here as well, not sure much truth is in that, I certainly have never heard it before. Near here, probably means outskirts of London!

Apparently he is being offered 400k a week in China..insane.

Surely he would be tempted by 4k a week and a season at Norwich?!;-)
 
I know he has received a lot of stick at times for some of the more gamesmanship parts of his play, but off the pitch Drogba is truly remarkable.

How many other professional footballers can say with conviction that they played a huge part in stopping their home country's civil war?

I've a lot of time for Drogba and I honestly think no man deserved a CL winner's medal more than him. Just like nobody deserved it less than Terry
 
Well, I chased Drogba down Commercial Road waving a pen and a neat new 1 year contract, but was rudely clotheslined and pinned to the floor by a burly security guard <grr> before he even got a chance to read the first few words. Oh well I tried, now its down to McNally & co!!
