seems like mensah has not finalised a move to safc yet, the option to buy would only come into play if mensah played at least 25 games, and that figure cannot be reached now. a deal to buy now would be on fresh terms between safc and lyon.

maybe this has worked in safc favour as with his injury problems and most recently his performances, surely in the new terms safc would offer considerably less and if lyon dont accept its see ya john with thanks.

also the same agent is responsible for muntari, who said sullys future will be decided at the end of season, "we dont know what will happen with sully yet"

i for one hope that he decides his future is back in intaly, as talks of 6-7 million for a player that has shown nowt seem absurd

Agree, we need a new CB and I would be happy with Turner,Bramble,Anton, Ned with Turner and Ned first choice.

Midfield we have a big question mark over Henderson and Muntari.

Sick of hearing about time to settle and potential.

Muntari done nothing so far IMO. Got to be steed and zenden in for him and hendo this weekend. Although Catts looked droppable ion Sunday would keep faith that he wont have 2 games like that in row due to pride.

I CANNOT BELIEVE WHAT I'M READING.

These were the same comments I posted weeks, nay, months back and got slated. Muntari is a shadow of his former self and Henderson is a waste of a shirt. It takes 7 bad games for y'all to finally agree with what I said before our slump started. People are asking where it all went wrong: Bruce's persistance in playing Henderson is what has brought our season to tatters. Creative, attacking players a la Steed, Bolo and Elmo have all had to sit on the bench for that waste of space.

    Where are you now billysmarts???????????

Agree with you dancer. I've got no allegiance or bias towards these players. But I have seen Muntari have 1 good game in all these years. All that baloney about him being a European Cup winner and takling the club to the next level were pinned on an over-rated bloke who only played once or twice for Milan this season. As for Henderson he seems way over-rated. He doesn't look bad on the wing but in central midfield he is a passenger. Steed and Bolo both look to have lost their legs and thats why they probably don't feature so much.
Its a pity for Jan because he looks like a top class player with great movement but at the minute the midfielders are giving him virtually no decent supply. He can't do it alone. I know Bent dropped you in the crap and his goasls would be missed by any team. However, the midfield needs sorting out in my opinion.

Still want Muntari at the club, personally. I think he'll come good in the long-run. As with Henderson.

Sometimes things take time, forget about the instant result culture Sky has burdened upon you. The panic at times is more unbearable than the craic some of the Mags post.

Steed is the most creative player we have. He may not assist, but the vision he has to pick up a pass that opens the play up, allowing goals and assists. Bolo is a much much better bet than ****ing Henderson man, did you see his goal last season? Or the amount of brilliant passes and chances he has created this season. Elmo actually takes people on down the wing and wins EVERY header, theres a reason why Mig kicks them up to him.

Muntari, as I said before, is a shadow of the player he was for Pompey. Milan, as someone correctly mentions, he was on the bench, playing 1 or 2 games this season. No one goes from Milan to Sunderland if they are banging them in every game, he's looking for a way out.

Sess is very tricky. I've seen more that I like from him in the past few games than I've seen in players like Henderson all season.

We're dropping like a stone. Coming good in the long run is not an option right now.

We are dropping, but we've more than enough quality to see us over the line.

We should be aiming for top 10 at least. We had visions of EU before Feb. Seeing us over the line shouldnt be an option either.

And by Saturday evening we could well be 9th. I believe that's in the Top 10, and easier games to come.

Easier? Teams fighting against relegation are never easy games. Working for the RR, surely you should have more footballing knowledge than that? There are no easy games in the PL.

Henderson has a great range of pass mate, so does cattermole for that matter, they can switch the play very well and thats all zenden can do, he scored that goal last season, it doesnt make him amazing.

Malbranque does have that quality still but we dont see enough of it too suggest he should start on the wing in place of Sess who gets at defenders very well.

Or perhaps thats why he works for RR ? Keeping a positive spin on things isn't a bad thing like.

No 'easy' games quite right, perhaps that was badly worded, but everyone in the Premier League would rather face the likes of WBA, Wolves, Birmingham etc than City, Chelsea, Spurs etc as we have done.

They're fighting relegation, big whoop, they're fighting relegation because in the main they aren't very good and are very beatable.
