I may have been mistaken about Colin Sexstone. Like many others I took him to be a pompous buffoon with the diplomatic qualities of Bernard Manning. I now realize I may have been wrong. His latest utterances show him to be a shrewd and perceptive being. He can see that in all likelihood there is going to be a shift in the balance of footballing superiority in Bristol. http://www.thisisbristol.co.uk/Bris...Rovers-Colin/story-16143126-detail/story.html
That's why he's been sacked,no idea's,failed in his task, full of bluster and waffle,no confidence left in BCFC and obviously very bitter, the man is a buffoon....
He was full of **** when he was our 'chairman' (ha ha ha!!!!!!) and nothing has changed by the look of it !
City will always be a bigger club than rovers, all way have all way will Even if the gas get their new ground, they will never be a bigger club than city It's a bit like saying port vale will be bigger than Stoke never going to happen.
Rovers have been bigger than City.....anyone with a knowledge of Bristol football knows that; and a random search shows that Port Vale have, on occasions, been more successful than Stoke http://www.rsssf.com/engpaul/fla/1924-25.html
Can't believe we are even having a conversation about this - can you honestly see Rovers being bigger than City - deluded!
Hewlitt Packard could really throw a spanner in the works with all of these worries, could be Ashton Vale all over again, what with this objection and the 100 others Souith Glos council have received... http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-england-bristol-17783410
I really hope the Gas take Colin on After all, you take the rest of our throw-aways, why not the biggest waste of space the club has seen in decades? The day the Gas get a new stadium is the day I drink from the bladder of a babboon
Recycled from a month ago Wiz Please note the comment in HP's statement; HP said it was having a "positive dialogue" with both parties to address its concerns over the proposals. A spokesman for HP said: "HP is not objecting in principle to the new Bristol Rovers stadium. Sounds more positive than the dialogue your lot had with the Ashton Vale NIMBYS. On top of that 100 offical objectors are a drop in the ocean compared to being told the land is a village green.
