Didn't realise you guys had such a massive forum :shocked:. For some reason I've always just presumed that all of the team forums for Championship sides would be fairly empty but this must be one of the largest and most active forums on the site. I've only just noticed it now you guys have been promoted and had your forum moved up to the PL section.

Anyway, Newcastle fan here. Welcome back to the Premier League. Looking forward to coming up against you guys. How well I think we'll do against you in both matches I will reserve opinion on until after the summer window. There's a lot of talk of some of our key players like Cisse, Tiote, Cabaye or Ben Arfa being sold, which is to be expected I guess, but I certainly hope we have a stronger side than we do now when it's time to rumble with The Saints.

How are you lot enjoying Pardew? We all liked him here but don't think any of us would have him back over his replacement! And his pre-match interviews were always boring as hell.
 
Pardew does not command as rich a vocabulary as our Nigel. NA is a master linguist, Mr Motivator and management-speak guru :)

Anyway, thanks Chappaz and look forward to some japes and jestering.

Part of the fun over the past three years has been through following the happenings on 606, we have about 30,000 qualified Referees/Managers most of whom contribute at some stage or other.....
 
I keep looking for the pompey forum. I hold my breath and dive down into the lower leagues, but cannot seem to get low enough before i need to come up for air. Still I will keep on trying, until I find them.

We love Pards. Naturally due to what he's done! We weren't happy at first but opinions are there to be changed and he's proven us wrong. I'm not sure how well he'll do long-term as I've seen situations like this before, but it's his 2nd year in now and things seem to be improving. Tactics are good, subs are alright but his man management and dressing room spirit is absolutely spot on. I think he's really learned some lessons from his last managerial jobs and we're now reaping the benefits of that.

Hopefully he gets a good reception at your ground.

He certainly will from me! He laid the foundations for our success, and his part in our promotion(s) should not be forgotton
 
Not all of us were Pardew fans! Grateful for the day at Wembley; grateful for the signing of Lambert, but I was sceptical from the start.

He's doing fantastic at Toon for now but this is his second full season and I think players start to find his management text book style a little stale after a while. Time will tell
