    He wouldn't stand-out at Hartlepool.

    That's an honest assessment.

Mmmm, yes, a nice balanced response. I have no idea about your posting history but I take it in your world players are good or ****e?<confused>
Maybe with Elmo on the field the Scandinavian bus dodger might have spent less time on the right wing, ifs buts and maybes.<whistle>

Still think with a bit of coaching he has the potential to be a very decent player. Don't think he's been given a proper run of games to show a great deal but then I haven't seen him in training.

He started off really brightly, bit confused as to why everyone's forgotten that, don't think he deserves the abuse he gets.

He stands out for Egypt and they play at a significantly higher standard than Hartlepool.

If we could get £3m for the pair I'd **** myself to sleep for a month.

Neither have the potential to excel in the EPL and neither would figure in my plans for the club short or long term. Both are taking up wages and just filling out the squad.

i dont have a problem if the lads are sold but i dont think elmo deserves the stick he gets, he's a decent player and like i said i reakon he would make a decent right back (think he plays there for his country) but the manager always seems to stick him on the wing so he's played out of possition.
    not his fault

Elmo isnt a very good player mate, sorry like but he aint. Not saying he is the worst we've ever had but he isnt the answer either. Sell him on and use the money to buy better.

Thats not quite true though. Ji, Wickham, Meyler, Elmo, Bramble, Westwood, Gordon are 7 others that got less time than Elmo.

None of them are good enough either imo.

The problem he has is that huge bandwagon he pulls round.

I suspect that his ethnic roots lie at the bottom of all this, Jesus just think if he was actually a Muslim(did you see what I did there) as his football is better than many of the run through brick walls player of the season types( NO NOT SESS). I think once the 'hate in' started it snowballed and the sheep did what sheep do best!

He has pace, what nearly our whole squad lacks. As has been said with a decent run of games the lad will come good!

It will be just our luck that he goes to West Ham and has an astounding season scoring 10 goals off the wing and providing enough ammunition for cartlon cole that he could fight off a platoon of viet-cong.

I see your abscence hasnt imporved your common sense or overall football knowledge much then? Lol

I take it by 'sheep' you mean the sensible people who can tell the difference between a footballer from a person who can just run fast in straight lines?

He's the only Sunderland player to not become a world beater whilst warming the bench<whistle>
