Casey Stoner Becomes a Dad

Casey and Adriana Stoner have had a baby girl Alessandra born at 9:55pm on 16/2/2011 (coincidentally Rossi's birthday!).
Congrats to the Stoners and wish them all the best.

Stoner is retiring from MotoGP at the end of this season.

 

Fallen out of love with the sport already? You'd think he would enjoy winning.

 

I imagine the original topic of this thread has something to do with it. He's always been open about the fact he isn't the type to stay forever.

 

From the autosport article, he just seems to come across as being fed up with MotoGP, no mention of him doing it for his family.

 

I'm absolutely gutted.
A great rider and the reason I got into Motogp in the first place. I hope he is still thinking about doing V8 Supercars, because I just can't imagine him not being in motorsport. If not, hopefully he changes his mind. The guy has been and still is an absolute legend.
