You weren't given the embargo because you "entered into admin" and the SFA never said Whyte was "fit and proper".

"What other teams get a year long ban for entering administration? "

dundee had a 25 point deduction and a transfer embargo

    livi had a transfer embargo

and the embargo is for the non payment of taxes primarily isnt it?

Always said Rangers fans were the most stupid worldwide . Today they've taken it to a new level, why can't they understand what they've done wrong!!!

    Hang on.

The punishment for going into admin was the ten point deduction.

The embargo (and fine) is for bringing the game into disrepute.

    Unless I'm mistaken.

No they're not. The BTC is an appeal by Rangers against a demand from HMRC.

Can you answer the question. How many teams that enter administration recieve a year long transfer ban?

Yes, we've not been found guilty of fk all, the Tax man make demands against companies all the time, appealing doesn't mean that they are guilty in the first place.

are you choosing to ignore the 10 posts above you?

your embargo is for the non payment of tax and bringing the game into disrepute

which is, as i said, not really what the report was about

    am i speaking french?

Didn't bringing the game into disrepute involve Whyte not paying VAT, us entering admin and Dundee Utd not getting their money?

Rangers didn't pay VAT - not Whyte.

Amongst those who fall under individual corporate responsibility for this are Messrs Bain, McLelland and Greig.

The Appelate Tribunal would say otherwise.

We got the ban for Whyte not paying PAYE & VAT (which put us into administration) & for not paying Dundee Utd.

Yes. The embargo was specifically for bringing the game into disrepute. A club could go into admin without bringing the game into disrepute and only get the 10 point deduction.
