Simple Question: What are your thoughts? I personally havent rated him at all this season and would let him contract run down and expire and if he doesnt want a coaching role, then tough. He for me, doesnt seem to help the team on the pitch, he rarely moves from the middle third and when he does, his passs just hasnt been threre. He doesnt bring energy and thats why bringing him on yesterday instead of Malbranque was a mystery, at least he scraps for the ball. Some of you will disagree but i dont think he is good enough to start a game for SAFC even if he did play in the Chelsea win as he doesnt seem to make a differece. Thoughts?
strange one this OCA as we know you are a big fan of the ghana players, and at the moment only one of them is good enough to start a game for safc. im STILL yet to be convinced that the muntari you rate is any better than either bolo or steed, in fact its been a step backwards imo. but like a lot of people hoping he proves us wrong
i'd like to see colback given a start just to stir things up, think he's got something to prove for himself and to the team.
ZEnden seems to be the only player who can actually pass to another Sunderland player then move to make himself available for a return pass.
Henderson should be behind Zenden anyways, and Henderson should be coming on for Zenden in games not the other way around. Our subs bench was disgraceful yesterday mind, City bring Viera and Wright-Phillips on and we unleash Jack Colback haha
If you knew anything about football, which your previous posts have clearly shown you don't! We may have taken your comment seriously.
I'm better than Henderson, and I can hardly kick a ball! If he'll stay, Zenden is a very useful player, he can bring creativity into a dire game if brought on about the hou mark. But if he wants to leave, I don't think he'd be a huge loss; but I do like him and will look back on him being one of our more classy players.
er ...nooooooo. Zenden gives us some creativity and bottle - 2 things badly missed in Jordon's game. When he has played this season, he has held up the ball well and delivered some telling passes. As for Steed is-that-glue-on-your-boots Malbranque, I'd like to see him wide left wing a bit more often, at least starting in place of Sulley. It's a shame that both these players were better last season - especially Steed, who was immense this time last year. to answer you question: - says it all.
I'd give him a run in the starting XI. He's one of the few players who can play the ball forwards 10 yards to one of his own players.
I'm not his biggest fan but do think he has his plus points........... seems like he actually wants to play the ball to one of our players instead of kick and hope with most of the team
