Well it was obvious the clueless McLeish would be sacked....Villa have been terribad this season, but they're starting to go through managers at a bit of a rate and they won't spend the money they need to steady the ship. I believe O'Neil went because they wouldn't give him any more cash, that decision looks like a bit of a no-brainer now.

Cant see why Lambert would leave a successful Norwich who are on the up for Villa who might end up getting relegated next season.

McLeish was sacked three games ago I have been told with the first team coach doing the stuff. To be honest this is gossip but it does come direct from a football chairman Lambert has been tapped up

I am changing my name next to Cerny Biscuit Barrel ... to be fair to CB I was told that Defoe was coming on loan. There is an inner circle and I work for a bloke who knows quite a lot it seems

Because Norwich are a horrible little club where they are all inbred and more interested in cooking pigs than football books. They are going to the NPC nest season. Villa probably too, but with a decent manager may just escape.

Cerny Biscuit Barrel - love it!

Is the Defoe thing the old or a new one?

I was told at the time that it was common knowledge that Defoe was coming on loan but then NW was sacked etc and MH didn't/doesn'r rate him ... Cisse puts it away does he not ... The world saw that yesterday ... One chance and he is on it ... Cisse put 7 million on his value according to The Chairman but its just an opinion ... generally most people i know were impressed with QPR

Might have something to do with the hoards of Norwich fans that invaded our boards hoping we would get a 'points deduction' last season, As i said then what goes around comes around.
For me you will be going down next season with/without Lambert. <ok>

I guess next season we'll have to buy the "premier league quality" players like you did and maybe we'll scrape it eh.

Why are we going to go down? What do you base that on? I'm pretty sure those wanting you to have a points deduction was just a minority. If you had been guilty then maybe you should of had one but you were not so you didn't deserve one, fair enough

Nothing against Norwich but that team will struggle next season. I can also see Lambert going. Teams like QPR/Villa/Stoke and co will only get stronger. Your best bet is that the promoted sides are rubbish. <ok>

ouch! that really hurts! <laugh> Thing is you cannot afford better players and you will be in a 'scrape'. We shall see for me its 6 points off you next season as our team will be stronger. <ok>

Lambert and Martinez are the 2 favourites to replace him, its going to be tough for either team to stay up if their manager leaves.

I also think Norwich and Swansea will struggle with the 2nd season syndrome and Norwich will be odds on favs to go down if Lambert leaves.

If Lambert were to leave I maybe more worried but you have given no reason as to why we will go down next year. Please enlighten me? Done ok this year and are continuing to improve. You may have to spend big to win the league but not to stay in it (by prem standards anyway). What suggests that teams such as QPR/Villa and Stoke will become so much better?
