It's all my fault we lost. I'm normally the eternal pessimist (been supporting them too long). But at 89 minutes I actually said out loud 'We've won this. They've run out of ideas and they're panicking. They won't score if they play for another hour.' Won't ever do that again.
According to Swords, that means you're not a real fan mate. You should be gutted that our useless arseholes let the game slip!!
Does that mean I should be happy if we win but go down? That would be the diametrically opposite situation. Just can't see it - I'm as happy as Larry today and was at 4.50 yesterday. The loss hasn't taken a hint of shine off it. Give me that "disappointing" result at the start of the season (or at any stage for that matter) and I'd have bitten your hand off.
I guess where the fake swords is coming from is that it was so nearly the perfect result ... If we had of won then today we would have been hailed as the team that would not die ... as i have said it matters not but lets all respect that everyone has a view point and thats what makes the QPR board the best ... we were involved in the best game of recent times for excitement that doesn't make us boring
Okay, I admit it, when the final whistle was blown at Stoke, I was willing City on to get a winner, guilty as charged! Does that make me any less a Rangers fan, no it doesn't. I'm delirious that we stayed up and also happy for City and happy that Manure didn't win the title, again!
Again, you've just called half of the posters on here pathetic because they happen to agree with me mate. I never said it doesn't make you a fan, that's a lie. I also never said our players were useless arseholes or even insinuated such a thing. Another lie. All I said was I was gutted to throw away what would have been our most famous result ever, in the dying minutes. If you can't get your fat head around that then that's fine but stop telling lies.
I'm astonished you would admit such a thing. Even more astonished that you'd think it doesn't make you any less of a fan. Of course it does. I'll say it straight: Anyone who will's QPR to lose, under any circumstances, is not a QPR fan. How the hell could you be? What the fu*k kind of hyocrites am I dealing with on this site. What an utterly shameless thing to say on a QPR forum. What kind of plank ARE you?
Swords...you could start a row in an empty room mate!! Get yourself down to Loftus Rd next season and be a REAL fan with us!!
And how would that sum me up Swords? Is the fact that I do care about staying up more than one game in isolation? Here's a hypothetical situation for you - say we went into the last game level with points and level goal difference with Bolton. Option A - we win by a goal but they win by 2 to send us down OR option B - we lose by a goal but they lose by 2 to send them down. Which would you prefer?
Well how about this in your hypothetical scenario? Bolton lose by two and we're winning by one, two minutes into added time and then throw it away. We stay up but on the day we made a hash of our own game. I'd be relieved we stayed up but very angry at throwing away the game.
You still didn't answer. I will to yours though - that would worry me more because a third goal in injury time sends us down (alphabetically I'd assume). My reason for not caring is this: When Mackie scored, I must have scared half the street with the noise I made - we had 10 men and were in serious danger of going down with Stoke winning - it DID desperately matter at that point. My euphoria started as soon as the Stoke match finished and we were safe. From that instant, the City game might as well have been a friendly - it didn't matter - our season, as it was originally laid out before us, was a success. Success = party time. If I found a winning lottery ticket on the floor but stubbed my toe when I went to pick it up then I would not care about a minor, short term toe injury. So how does my attitude sum me up exactly?
