Does anyone know when we start our Europa Cup games and at what round we start in? Also do we know what teams have also qualified and who our potential opponents could be? Just been watching the riots at the Fenerbache v Galatasary game at weekend. Having been to one of these Turkish games(my wife is Turkish and her family are Fenerbache fanatics) I would be extremely concerned if we had to go to Turkey. They have a a reputation for extreme violence. Its not just the Isatnbul teams by the way, the rest are all nutters as well!!!

Fenerbahce and Galatasary are currently top and second respectively, with Trasbonzpor and Besiktas 3rd and 4th. I'm not sure how many qualify.
Athletics Madrid from Spain are 5th, with Mallorca and Levante 6th and 7th.
Napoli are 5th in the Italian league with Inter 6th, Roma 7th. But I'm not too sure how many qualify from these countries.
There will be many eastern European.
As for when we start, at the moment we have one qualifier at the end of August, however, were Chelsea to win the Champions League, I'm pretty sure Tottenham would get that place and we start at the start of August.

As things stand at the minute Chelsea's first game in the Europa is on 20th September, that would be when Tottenham start if Chelsea win the Champions League. We definitely start on 23rd August with Liverpool starting on 2nd August.

I was actually under the impression that us being the team in 5th would mean that we dont have to play any qualifying rounds? Its new to me all this europe business, been a long time since I was watching us in the Uefa cup!
FA Cup winners get priority, if they had lost to say Tottenham then that would have been different.

That's absolutely ridiculous. They win a few games against lower league opposition and a couple against PL teams and they are classed as better than the team who finished above them in a 38 game season? Shocking.
I know they used to give the League Cup winners priority as well until recently.
