Me too, but on the other side of the coin, his sending off may have just inspired our 10 men to almost win this game 2-1

this is all billhooks! every single one of us to a man said 17th in our 1st season would have been a success yet all I see is moan moan moan.
    I thought we were magnificent!
personally I can't wait until next season. we'll have got rid of a lot of dead wood and stability now must be the aim.

Get a life, it doesn't matter FFS! <grr> Barnsley or Liverpool at home on a Wednesday night?

We were playing with 10 men against the champions who have not lost a game at home all season.

You being an a*** for the sake of it. Go and support the scum up the road!

I understand the feelings of disapointment as we lost the game today and its disappointing to lose any game, but the bottom line is we may have lost the battle today, but have won the war over the course of the season and live to fight on

Re that last post. Sorry Stan, just read your entire post and I picked you up wrong. Norway recklessly (or perhaps deliberately) left out your entire context.

Norway, you Vikings can't be trusted!

'247, you're a dangerous character to have lurking about. I never said anything of the sort, literally or to that effect. I simply praised a good performance and a great victory - something most of you imbeciles couldn't get your head around because of your hatred of Chelsea.

Don't be running around putting words into people's mouths. Its a nasty habit to try and shake.

Sums today up precisely! Really looking forward to our 2nd season back in the Premier League - I was just dreading a return to the Championship and all the upheaval at our club.

Oh now I know why you're after me Swords. I think a lot has got lost in translation here.

    Can I try to explain?

The way I took it was if we had gone down to a bad defeat today we would all be over the moon after Stoke had saved our a***.

See my first post on this thread ffs!

Hope this explain it to you, massive misunderstanding here me thinks.

<laugh> This has got to be the funniest post of the season. What have you got against being disappointed with losing in the last minute?

Being a Club that hasn't won the league in an age doesn't mean we shouldn't want to win big games. You should know! <laugh>

Who won the big battle for eight this season? You or Fulham? <laugh> There's never been such an overrated joke of a mid-table Club in the history of modern football.

Enjoy the tussle with Swansea and West Brom again next season

Big misunderstanding SB, I see that now. Silly me, feel kind of stupid right now to be honest <doh>

Had we been well and truely beaten by the champions I think we would be celebrating even harder after the help we had recieved from Stoke. That was the point i was trying to make (failing miserably). I totally took your post out of context and didn't explain myself well enough, for that I apologise.

No problem Norway, all is forgiven on salvation day. I think you and I were saying exactly the same thing - somehow a thumping defeat would have made it easier to enjoy finishing 17 th....

If, ten games ago, someone had offered us a disappointing game, thrown away in injury time to the eventual winners of the league, but ultimately survival then I doubt anyone would have worried about the game we lost.

It's the last 5 home games, the eventual rallying round of the team and the fact that we have a chance to do better next season that are worth feeling proud about.

You can say that we were reliant on Stoke but I prefer to think that we set Bolton a points tally that they simply couldn't match.

    Happy days IMO.

Just seen the match stats, they had 35 shots, 24 on target, to our 3 (all on target! - 2 goals and the Cisse free kick). Somehow, this makes a 3-2 loss feel like a miracle.

We've already stuck 2 fingers up at the doubters by surviving. We were written off by all journos, expert commentators and many on here with 10 games left. We have beaten arsenal, Liverpool, tottenham and others. An heroic effort and loving every minute!

In the build up with all the talking heads and pundits, saying City should beat QPR no problem or negative city fans saying how typical it would be to throw it all away to a team like QPR - mrs tooting says "are they all laughing at QPR?" and I had to say - yes, these ****ers are.

I'm gutted we didn't piss on their chips, but **** it, other results conspired to keep us up. And for that I am also ecstatic.

I think back to how pleased the Bolton fans were after that first game, and that also gives me a thankful glow.

In a months time all that will matter is we are a PL team and the cheats at Man U did not win the title.

Long term this was the best result for me, short term a win against City would have been celebrated hard but then the realisation that we handed the title to Utd would have set in.

Have to say this relegation sh*t really puts you thru it, i had to leave the pub at half time, couldn't watch it, my nerves were gone i was kicking every ball, and my heart was pumping, listened to the rest on the radio and smoked by brains out, i then like Swords felt so bad we couldn't hang on, even for the draw. Last week in Loftus Road was the same, 89 mins before we scored, couldnt enjoy that game until that moment, it was so tense, and Stoke must have wasted 15 to 20 mins on throw ins, just to prolong the agony. I know the most important thing is we survived, going to knock back a few vodkas now and celebrate, looking forward to the Premier League next season. Come on u Rrrrrrrrrrrr's
