Shame really, if he didnt have that temprement, ie. you only look at the football player, he would be an ideal signing for us

He really gritted his teeth when he dug the knee into Aguero. I can only assume Aguero protested to get him sent off with the imaginary red card waving stuff and whilst this behaviour is a bad part of the game. Mr. Barton should not be dishing out his own justice.

As for giving him a 10th chance and it's due to mental health issues. Perhaps some serious punishment which includes some enforced counselling is the best course of action.

A big fine and long match suspension should be dished out for this and his previous record.
Then he should be forced to see a sports psychologist or some sort of shrink to get sorted out

He has really lost it now... Barton tweets: 'still don't think it was a red' The bloke has lost the plot, he's been given far to many chances to prove he has left his past behind. I expect at least a 10 game ban, (3 for the elbow, 3 for the kick, 3 for the attempted head butt and I expect a few games for bringing the game into disrepute). No one can back him I'm afraid, he's on an incredible wage and should no best when there are so many young fans watching.

The knee was after he'd already been sent off. The lino (man of the match) saw it straight away.

4 for the elbow (second red of the season)
4+ for the knee
1-2 more for failing to leave the field etc etc
Job done.

He's spouting now that he tried to 'take one with me (him)'.

Yep, so just go ahead and kick someone. Wonder what his excuse was for that poor chap he nearly kicked to death outside McDonalds?

I would be ashamed if he was a Saints player and would demand his immediate suspension from the club and sell him in the summer. On twitter, he is adamant he shouldn't have been sent off! He's a disgrace to english football.

What shocked me is that he says one of his teammates advised him to try and take one with him. So we know there's at least one other player in the QPR team who thinks it's okay to incite violence.

It's not just his actions on the pitch - by all accounts he appears to be a complete ****wit off it aswell.

I find his twitter feed mildly amusing and perhaps disturbing. The quotes he plucks from Nietzsche and others that he feel will reflect well on his intellect and persona, in my opinion, backfire on him, and make him look even more of a pillock. Needs rehab, desperately.

The guy is a complete and utter c**k!! He's in his 30's now and behaves like a chavvy teenager. In any other walk of life he would have done time by now. He's had chances to change his ways and hasn't, and probably never will.

My favourite thing about his Twitter feed is his ongoing feud with Piers Morgan. Even if Barton is a complete pillock as you say, I'm still on his side for that one. No one is more of a cock than Piers Morgan.

He has done time, hasn't he?? Perhaps I'm wrong..

Haha, that is certainly true. I'd support most people in a battle of "wits" against Piers Morgan.

Did anyone follow his petty squabble with Alan Sugar, which resulted in a competition to see who could get the most followers? Two complete morons who believe themselves to be gods among men. Sugar can't even spell.

I hate Sugar almost as much as Morgan.

Don't know why you're surprised, as people always say when diving is brought up, there's a lot at stake and players will always try to cheat. QPR at that point were staring into the abyss (otherwise known as the championship), so I can well believe he was trying to even the numbers.
