Anyone else feeling like sh*t after losing that game the way we did?

On the one hand its great we stayed up. But on the other hand we was winning in the 92nd minute...............and we lost!

    I can't stand it.

Weigh it up Swords. Which is more important? Losing one match to the Premiership Champions or a whole second season in the Premiership with good owners, a good manager and a selection of players with flair and backbone.

Can't help how I feel though mate. We should've never lost that game. It was criminal the way we threw all our brilliant work out the window in a few seconds.

It truly is a double-edged sword. I'm ecstatic we have managed to stay in the Premier League, but it is annoying knowing that it was because we relied on another team to help us, given the position we were in at the Etihad.

When we lost it I couldn't care less tbh as Stoke v Bolton was already finished. But as it's sinkin' in I'm starting to share your feelings Swords, agree that giving it away against a team unable to break us down with ten men up until then is bordering criminal.

If you look at it the other way around though, I sincerely believe us going 2-1 up was the undoing of Bolton, at least I can take some comfort from that.

Why do I feel disappointed? We threw away a game in two minutes and it could have sent us down! We relied on a Stoke pen to survive. We live to fight another day, just!

Me thinks you are being deliberately provocative again. We stayed up at the end of the day and thats all that matters. Would have hated to have won United the Premiership. Hate Ferguson with a passion.

I'm bored of United winning but then again I don't like the obscene money spent on the City team. Would have preferred our safety to be because of our own endeavours ie a draw or win, but not that unhappy with today. The focus is now on the future!

I swear on the Bible I'm not Kerry. I'm genuinely disappointed right now. Maybe its a silly way to feel but I do.

Ferguson and United have nowte to do with it. We missed out on our best result in an age. Like I said, gutted.

You have to learn to look on the bright side of life. Lets look forward to next season and a big Irish contingent meeting up for a game. Can't wait already.

Maybe so but I have a sneaky suspicion there's at least one man who's feeling the same right now:

We got more points than Bolton, that is why we stayed up.

Know how you feel Swords, at 90 minutes me and the lad were dancing around the living room screaming 'we're going to win!!!'. But loss softened by the knowledge that Bolton had blown it before we did, and that the Rs performance until the 92 minute was a freak. We parked the bus, just what most on here ( including me) didn't want, and nearly got away with it. It was a miracle that we were in a position to win at all. Console yourself with the fact that had we lost 6-0 you would have felt better....

The £1m bonus he gets for staying up will help sweeten the pill

Swords, Kerry, tomorrow morning i will go into official planning for our big day out next season. I have 2 plans, depending on finances. One, we all go to Dublin and invite the Not 606 lads over for some irish hospitality. Two, we pack our bags and head for HQ and hopefully plan a night out in London town.

Swords mate, i really understand how you feel. There is about 10% of me that would like to go into that dressing room and kill a few of those guys. Barton would be first second and third. The guys are right though, lets look upwards and onwards. If we build on this, today might just go down as one of the most important in our history. Looking forward to getting back home and meeting all you guys very SOON.

Swords i know you what i mean. I couldnt celebrate at the end either being 2-1 up after 90 mins and then losing.I felt gutted because we deserved at least a point but come the new fixture list mid June i know that the result today will be forgotten. We are still i the premiership and thats all that matters.
