I need help with identifying which year this shirt was used, there is no sponsorship on it, as I am e baying it.

cheers.

Has it got Speeds autograph on it? Could bump it up a bit. Dont miss a trick mate, post a link on here it may help you sell it quicker. Maybe contact the club, see if they want it for the museum? They will probably only accept it as a donaction though <grr>

Its a funny story pal, the only leeds signature on it is Robbie Keanes, I used to work in portugal, looking after teams at training camps, and the 2007 Republic of Ireland Team signed this for me, if it had of been signed by the Leeds team it would be going no where lol, thanks for the help guys my head went blank.

sorry it has steve stauntons on the bottom, he was at Leeds with McAllister.

Interesting indeed! The shirt is rare in itself due to not having the Admiral sponsor across the front. Bit of a neish market I suppose but if you target the Irish market it may fetch well. Is there an Irish fan club that you could advertise it through? It may get missed on ebay...

I knew the shirt was rare having no sponsorship, I think i will be looking in to an irish fan club as you say would be a much wider audience.

While you're asking I've the away shirt from the 91/92 season with no sponsor's name on it (think it should have been TopShop?).

I always assumed it was a knock-off although I think I bought it in a reputable sports shop in Belfast. Memory is going and the shirt is about 5 sizes too small for me now anyway - it spends its life in a frame nowadays on my wall.

Edit. The official site has contact details for loads of Leeds supporters clubs in Ireland, north and south - why not send a generic email to all of them.

I have mailed a few, they probably think Im a fruit loop !! as for the sponsors names I think there are one or two that are misprinted and not printed which makes them quite rare I have around 14 signed tops, which one of is my pride and joy the 89/90 shirt with Vinnie jones and batty and a few others on it, I remember the open day at LUFC with vinnie sat there with his leg in plaster.

I think it may be a replica retro that can be bought in the club shop, but it now has some signatures on it

Apparently it's more valuable if it has the Leeds Mission Statement on the breast pocket: "We are A BIG CLUB DESPITE ALL THE EVIDENCE."
