Just out of interest. Where do those who go to the games like to eat before or after the match?

When I first started going to Highbury, it was a dead cert for the Golden fish bar on the corner of Gillespie Rd. £1 for Burger and Chips.
The amazing thing about that place is that over 20 years later and they've only put the price up to £2 !!!

These days I'm a massive fan of Piebury Corner. £4.50 for a pie is a bit steep, but for any pie connisseur out there, let me tell you, smothered in homemade gravy and a dollop of mustard on the side - it's well worth it. My favourite is the 'Charlie Nicholas' <ok>

Also, without giving any names away - there is someone at Piebury who is very close to the club and has a bit of insider knowledge.

Any where else that's any good? Am I missing out on any gastronomical delights ?

I just get the burgers they do outside the stadium. Usually get 2, it can be 3 when I'm hungry.

Griller is brilliant for Champions League nights. They do the best chicken wraps I've ever had.

Chicken and chips in the stadium, and a burger from the burger stand near the golden fish bar, the burger stand near the Arsenal members pub. And a chips from the golden bar.

Another fatty <laugh> Where do you find room for it all ?

Anyone ever eaten in one of the swanky restaurants inside the Emirates ?

You actually pay the stadium prices for the food? <yikes>

Anyone ever eaten in the Plimsoll Arms ? I think it's got a different name nowdays - down St Thomas's rd on the way to Finsbury Park . . .The Landlady there made me a cheese toastie once when I lost my Uncle after a night game. He had was looking after my money and my travelcard, so I had nothing. He turned up in the pub about an hour after full time, he was mad - I'd had a feed. Then we went home <laugh>
