no I watch him every week you obviously write him off before he starts you must be having a laugh and very small minded, the best he played I think was at Newcastle and watched him chase every ball without giving up, his goals earlier in the year have got our saftey, he has been put up front by himself so much and has just got on with it , every time at Carrow road when up front he chases so much

Best you ring Canary call you will fit in

I never boo any of our players, I never moan out loud, I always get behind the team and ALL the players at matches. But away from the ground I reserve the right to criticise and voice my opinions. Some people on here won't have a word said against any of the players, including Morison, even when they deserve to be lambasted. As I have stated, Morison did well today, but he has IMO shown a complete lack of fight at times and DOES appear lazy for whatever reason. Let's hope his goal today helps him to turn the corner. <ok>

P.S. While most callers to 'Canary call' are complete ****wits (did anyone here Shaun today <doh>), some do ring in with constructive views believe it or not <ok>

I agree with Kickitoff. Everyone has their favourites and certain posts are dominated by said players supporters. Obviously Beefy and DM like Morison and that's good. But that shouldn't mean those who don't see him in the same light should be subjected to smug comments when Morison scores.
Remember this guy started as our main striker and has caused as much division of opinion amongst supporters as any other player. In my opinion, his early season form was excellent and he certainly did a good job for a number of games as a lone striker. He score one or two excellent goals and the team looked to be going places. And yet he still came in for criticism. I was fairly defensive in his favour but as the season developed, I lost a little of my support for him.
Its down to the manager of course and if he believes in him then that's all that matters. But personally I thought Cinnamons performance today gave me hope that Holt and him are our best pairing. And it confirmed my belief that we are a better team with two up front.

Not a Norwich fan, but I can't understand why any of your fans can be on his back, as he has impressed me causing problems to Arsenal and Newcastle's defence's both home and away. Anyhow glad to see him score yesterday and thanks for the favor.

He's a legend for finally calling out the negative canary callers.

Beef, I don't want a row with you, and I'm happy that your happy, and he's happy, and the team are happy! But why did he not come out and say this weeks ago, he's scored a goal which is his job, one in 15 games, and now he feels it's the right time? A bit odd.
I'm in total agreement what has been said about Canary Call, it's a program run by and for ******s, BUT, you listen to it, so do I and so does the team and the manager, and thousands of others, so I'm a bit puzzled but it serves a purpose I guess.
Anyway onwards and upwards Villa next, I hoped we would relegate them, not to be now, but I still hope we give them a thrashing!

Nothing to get into a row over. Morison answered his critics with a magnificaent goal, putting negativity in it's place. A great day for NCFC.

Great finish today by Morison, never really doubted his work rate.

He is still a player very short on touch, control and ability to hold the ball up though.

If he's not scoring goals then he really doesn't contribute anything of worth.

I never would have guessed you'd be negative!

Beefy, you'll have to explain why the current word is negativity. Just because many supporters, all as genuine as you, don't see Morison as anything more than a Championship striker, they are called negative.
I'm positive he's not good enough.

everybody on here knows where i stand on the morison debate. i think to say he's been treated unfairly by many supporters is putting it mildly to say the least - he's a footballer; he's not super-human; and he will have dips in form. however, equally, i don't believe he should suddenly be lauded by the 'i've always supported morison' brigade because he scored again - he is still, as far as i'm concerned, struggling for form but hopefully his goal will give him a renewed confidence heading into next season. calls for him to be offloaded were ridiculous - the guy is a good striker and currently sits 22nd in the premier league top scorers list!

if you are a club who is likely to be striving for survival again next season you DO NOT flog someone who can score goals at this level unless there is a much, much better alternative available. hopefully some people will get off his back a bit now and give him some more support - he is a complex character and the grief he has received has done him nor the club any favours since february. i didn't like him doing it but i totally understand why he did the 'ssshhh' at the fans but lets draw the line there and get behind ALL our players in future - they are there to win games for OUR club <ok>

<ok> A lot of us want Rodriguez but who knows that he will do better than Morison? He could be far worse. He can do it in the Championship but he may not be able to do it in the Premier League. Morison has proven he can score in the Premier League, and some good goals at that - Newcastle and Blackburn at home come to mind.

well i'd love jay rod too wonky, but to replace morison? nope. i want him to add to morison! if anyone seriously thinks morison is one of our worst players and we should get rid then i find that more than bizarre.
