it's people like you Ammaar that make me think twice about rubbing it in!! well done fella..you always say it like it is...unless you say somthing i disagree with
Someone really ought to go over to the goonlets' board and remove shoe-laces and all sharp objects. I haven't seen the forum's Gooners this suicidal since before Christmas!
oh go on then ..ill pop ova ... its up to us now HIAG......we got to turn up tomorrow i can only see this result as being an added incentive for our lads..they better be up for it.
I agree too, but it's like being the most handsome man in the burns unit, as Frankie Boyle would say.
I know a number of Arsenal fans like Ammarr in the real world, but on here his thoughtful fair minded comments are unique. Good to have your comments on the Spurs board Ammarr, agreed with or not, always worth a read.
I'd say that our game tomorrow, away to the Villa, is the biggest of our season. If we can win that, and be sitting in third spot with a home game against Fulham left, it would make for the greatest game of league football I will personally have witnessed us play since we finished second in the old Division 2 to take us straight back up to the top flight.
Damn, that was funny, what a great game! But way too soon for any laughing at Arsenal fans. Haven't you guys learnt already this season lol? We still have to do it.
I think his problem is that he's stubborn. He's used to being in the vanguard of coaching, he seems to refuse to accept that the game has changed. If you can't defend in Europe, nowadays, you won't survive for long. You can marginally get away with it in the Premiership, providing you have the attacking resources to compensate.
Ammaar I do honestly believe he is a good manager, but as I said before he needs a fresh challenge, I think he is struggling to manage a 1 man team so to speak, I'd blame him for not makinng purchases bt have always said that there is more than meets the eye with that one. If he was available and we had vacancy then I'd be interested as I think hecould get who he wanted with us. Il probably get hanged for the suggestion!
If as a manager you have only one overreaching strategy then you will always rely on the 'right' players being available. A great manager can adapt his tactics to the talent available that's why I would rate Venables higher than Wenger. Wenger has been good for PL football as he provides an alternative vision of how the game should be played (and it's a good vision) but as I have said if the players to do it are not there you need to change things for the good of your team. Having said that, Wenger is not alone in having a one eyed view by any means.
