There's been plenty of revolt against successful managers this season - Wenger certainly faced one a few months ago, just as there's always been an undercurrent of one against Mancini (he's their most successful manager for twenty years too) On the other hand, when Keegan returned to Newcastle the fans gave him a free pass even though he was piloting their club downwards, because he was more successful than the majority of their managers.
