Cameron Jerome has put a question mark over his future at Stoke City by saying he doesn't believe he has been given a fair chance at the Brit - According to the Sentinel.
"I have not been given a fair crack of the whip - what I think would be a fair run in the side. Thats just my personal opinion. I train hard and I see what goes on in training. The rotation policy has not been fair in my eyes, but that is the managers decession........
........." I have not really spoken to him about playing since I have been here. He picks the side and you just get on with it. As a player you work hard in training and try to break into the team I suppose, but it seems no matter what I do I cant get in! That's something I will have to address in the summer. To be honest, I am unhappy about not playing, but there are probably 10 or 11 other players in the same position as me."
I was never a fan of his signing, as I felt he would duplicate what Fuller does and not give us a new dimension, but given that Fuller has been non existent this term and Walters has been generally poor, you would think he would have had a run of games at some point? For me he isnt a week in week out starter, but then again neither is Walters! It seems that there appears to be some resentment and not just from Jerome, and really, who can blame them?
I thought Jerome's goal last night was excellent, something Walters is not capable of doing when 100% fit and fresh, let alone after his 52nd game in a row!
