I like humanbeingincroydon's argument - but then I like notsosmartspur's argument too. Which is better? There's only 1 way to find out! please log in to view this image
...what do you mean, which one of us can smash Harry Hills face in the quickest!...yeah, I'm up for that
You were favourite all season and then you blew it by having a few interesting arguments at the end. Bottler.
The Fail have decided that our season's not quite been disrupted enough, so they've put Redknapp in the frame for the Chelsea job: http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/football/article-2137784/Harry-Redknapp-offered-Chelsea-job.html What a load of bollocks.
I did mention yesterday some bookies have him down as 16/1 to take over. Oh well, if he fails to use their squad properly and loans out some key utility players in January as they're pissed off with a lack of games, it'll work out nicely for us!
I was interested in SAF's selection last night - if Harry had chosen that set of players in that formation, he'd have rightly had no end of stick on here. This management lark must be more difficult than it looks. Seems that even SAF doesn't trust 442 against the very best! Also I don't think he rotates exactly, just picks the XI he thinks will do the best job against particular opponents - but he definitely doesn't stick to a favoured few.
Rose has had a moan today about his lack of playing time and Redknapp's refusal to allow him to go out on loan. Considering the manager's reluctance to use him, it does seem odd that he wasn't given the opportunity to gain experience elsewhere.
'Arry's in enough trouble with us for letting players go out on loan as it is! By the by, the latest training pictures show Kane, Smith, Carroll and more worryingly, Alnwick training with the first team after returning from their loan spells. I suppose it's no surprise really but it's good to see they've been put straight back in there.
If we want to boots a strikers' confidence in front of goal, is there anything better having them face Alnwick in training? If we're cruising against Villa or Fulham, I wouldn't mind seeing Harry Kane make a cameo - besides, he wanted ten goals for the season and he's one short, so he might bust a gut to get it!
it seems to me from going up and down these boards that we are only capable of getting 2-3 managers it seems...which is quite sad... Martin Jol Harry stays or someone elses bloody reject who seems to be having a lucky steak maybe and RDM is not that good...but what happened was the players stopped playing for AVB and then started playing for RDM...what a disgusting club full of basterds from top right to the terraces....at least we at Spurs have always held Jol close to our hearts due to him being mistreated.....however not for next manager...even though i love the guy.
As long as he's not thrown on as a lone striker, I'd like to see it, too. He developed a good partnership with Andy Keogh during the last couple of months of the season.
I still think AVB would do well with a team that isn't full of ****s. Although the strict continental approach didn't exactly work with Ramos so maybe he wouldn't be right for us.
He did well with West Brom. In the Championship. Not so well with the same players in the Premier League, mind...
