The old BBC606 had dedicated sites for each of the counties. Although not
as popular as the football sites, the Glos and Somerset sites were well used,
    with many regular contributors.
There's a Cricket forum here, but it's not county specific, and it's seldom used.
JA606 has sites for each county, but no-one seems to go there these days.
    606v2 is patchy.
Is there a site out there where all the old BBC606 contributors have gone?
Unlike Rovers and City, who have Fans' Forums, Glos does not.
    Any suggestions.

New606 seem to have a good Cricket Forum, give it a try,if there are any cricket experts on our BCFC forum who want to get a conversation on cricket going tell me,I'm more than happy to put up a sticky on it for the season but the nominated person would have to run it....

Arthur Milton was a Bristolian and he was the last person to be a "Double International". That means he played for England at cricket and football - one football cap and several test matches. He achieved this feat playing for Arsenal and Gloucestershire, and spent the last four months of his football career at City, playing 14 games in the 1955 promotion team.
And cricket is a super sport but perhaps a bit too deep for some of the posters on here. Before I moved to Portugal, I had season tickets at City, Bristol Rugby and Gloster cricket!

Cricket is a brilliant sport to play and to watch.

Soaking up the rays, supping a cold pint of cider, listening to the thwack of willow on ****head is also good.

Hey Shiny, I do not need Wikipedia!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
By the time City won promotion in 1955, I had already clocked up 5 seasons watching City, Bris Rugby, Glos CC and dare I say it the occasional Rovers game.
I still have my autograph book with the entire City promotion squad's signatures.
I'm City til I die, which I hope is still a long way off.
