They certainly are not sweet but FA sums up what they know about football Hodgson is an ok manager for mid table "small" clubs but he is not "big" enough for a top club ( eg L'pool ) let alone England He has about as much charisma as Pulis but then perhaps he will ring him for advice on tactics team selection and how to turn attack into defence Totally agree with criticsm of Pennant but then Pulis doesnt exactly set a good example "speeding whilst on the phone clinching marquee signings for this football club" SiS
Oh yeh, for got about that one! He couldnt be banned because Stoke-on-Trent would become bankrupt and removed from the map!
For his own sake, I hope Pennant doesn't conduct his own defence, he hasn't beaten one all season. I know but I tried. Re the FA, and poor old 'Arry. I cannot remember reading or hearing the FA make any reference to Redknapp, this has all been blown out of all proportion, by the media - as per usual. You remember the scene prior to Keegan getting the job, all the tabloids whipping up a storm, encouraging the fans that King Kev was the saviour etc etc and then when they find that their self erected idol has feet of clay, they whip up another frenzy - scurvy Kev out. Same will happen here, sure as eggs is eggs
Bit harsh comments IMO, because he's won titles in Sweden and Norway and got to the UEFA Cup Final with Inter which sounds like big names to me.
Perhaps but there is a chance that even Stoke without Pulis could win titles in Sweden and Norway Whilst the players must not be allowed to dictate their initial reaction was not overwhelming. To me he just has the look of a loser and "Arry" should have been given a chance As someone said on TV today It is "Cloughie" again SiS
I agree, Ive got nothing against Hodgson but I think that the FA have made the wrong decision....... AGAIN!!!!!!
