Commiserations guys. When you played us you were a good footballing side, better than many I have seen this season and I for one would have like to see you stay up. Consolidate and keep the better players you have and you should come straight back up.

If he goes to a Championship club he'll have earned it.

spot on slasher i'm gutted, but the league position doesn't lie. We paid for a string of poor results earlier on in the season.
that said the football optimist part of me is already saying, well we have the framework of a pretty good league 2 side by holding on to the better players we can and bringing in a few new faces, if we (when i say we i mean S.H and the board) sort out the off field stuff now.
p.s anyone else notice the county fan who wanted to fight every steward in the away stand even after he was ejected, what a n*b a prime candidate for one of those anger management courses,

another desperate day as a wanderers fan yesterday,we took the lead and never ever looked like we could hold onto it.the only bright spark this season has been the mercurial beever, what a player he has been this season, 100 per cent effort every game he plays in ,sublime skills and some fantastic goals, best of luck to him next season wherever he ends up playing ,one of the best players ever to grace the light and dark blue quartered shirt. <magic><applause><applause><applause><applause>

we have paid the price for some terrible signings, some shambles of performances (oldham away, chesterfield away, tranmere, the list goes on), some good performances where we threw it away (walsall home, oldham home, charlton away, and of course today)

ultimatly if you defend like we do you will go down, we probably deserved something today but the manner the last 2 goals were conceded was just awful

a shout out to a minority of the county fans, an utter disgrace for how they treated the steward who was pushed and punched.

Please tell me this was not yet another Waddock substitution cock up. Who is Dunn? I got the impression he is a youngster. Was that the right thing to do when we were 3-2 up with 4 mins to go. Obviously we needed someone experienced to help steady the defence. Did we not have anyone?

Hate to say this but should GA have equalised in injury time?

dunne is a young left back who has come through our accademy ron,he came on at charlton away last week with 5 minutes to go,god knows what waddock was thinking bringing him on yesterday in such a crucial game <doh>.ainsworth was playing as a striker for most of the second half another waddock masterstroke <doh>.we couldnt handle the aerial bombardment by county in the second half and it was only a matter of time with the amount of balls coming into our six yard box that their huge forward line would take advantage,we needed a big dave winfield in there but unfortunately he wasnt available through injury.the players put in a good shift but the defensive errors happened again and in the end we paid the price.fans were great yet again and deserved better but it wasnt to be.the cold hard truth is that it wasnt about last week or this week its over the whole season that we have defended badly and thats why we have been relegated.a special mention must go to lewis and bloomfield in our midfield they were everywhere putting fierce tackles in and had no help from strevs or grant in defending.strevs has to go he is clearly not good enough and as for grant despite his undoubted talent he is as lazy as they come and we couldnt afford to carry him over the season.ga had a late chance but not really a clear cut one with defenders closing him down.overall a very entertaining game but we proved we just cant defend a lead and that is our downfall with some 86 goals being conceded this season.

dunne surely has potential, i think waddock wanted to go 5-4-1 and park the bus, however this fell through miserably. his subsitutions throughout the season have been baffeling

Gutted...very disillusioned and fear the worst.

It seems any time we get anybody half decent coming through the youth ranks they're snapped up before they've reached double figures in first 11 starts, and the best players (with a couple of exceptions) are players on loan. I can't see how we, taking into account our dire financial state, can move forwards.

Bringing on Dunne was just another symptom of failing to make the right signings in the summer. You couldn't argue against the fact that Grant needed replacing. Another match in which he disappeared for long periods, and Notts were doing a lot of attacking down our left; but you look at what he had on the bench, and Waddock was in a no win situation. I don't believe for a second it contributed to the defeat.
I must say I thought Ainsworth's chance at the end was a very good one. Shame it was on his left foot, but from my view he had as much space as you are going to get in the box (unless you are a visiting forward).

Sad for you boys :( under our previous owner ( not upset with him, he just ran out of money) every summer we sold anybody good and brought in free's. If you can keep 7 or 8 of this year's squad and add good Free's plus 2 or 3 season long loans then you should be back up next season. You know how to do it <ok> (twice in the last three seasons) so you need your players to get their heads down and just get on with it and not feel sorry for themselves..

If you can keep Beavon and get somebody like Hayes (I doubt if he will be with us next season) then you should get goals, as for Defenders? well the Doc is out of contract at the end of June <ok>

Very best of luck for next season.

As has been said, it's been coming for a while and we simply haven't been good enough. But the way it happened yesterday was sickening. That was a real kick in the balls and just about summed us up.

I must admit though that the thought of that idiot County fan in the blue hoodie who got chucked out for running on the pitch after their first equaliser on 2mins and missed probably his team's best away day in years made me feel a little better after the game.

Looking forward, we have to change things and that starts with Waddock going. His time is up and we have to move forward in a different way now. However this news of the club being handed to the Trust will have to unfold first.

So back to league 2. Very disappointing and will be glad when this season is finally over next week. But like the rest of you, I will be back for more hope and punishment next season.

cheers all hell, the sad thing is that will be the last time we see beever in a wycombe shirt at our place ,he is far too good for this division, players like him dont come along that often, there are not many players that i have seen in all my time watching football that can control a ball and kill it stone dead at full pace like he does.hayes was a very good asset to us and we were very dissapointed to see him go back but thats football it happens,it would be nice to have him back for next season but i dont think he will drop down to that level to be honest.<ok>

Just been looking at the league table a bit unbeliveable I did not realise that we have scored more goals at home than a so called free scoring side like Huddersfield. Steve Hayes got Waddock for exciting football & plenty of goals the only trouble we ended up on the wrong end of the plenty of goals
