I must be missing something here, My banner is the same as from the start...........................HELP!
Why does it appear to be rising from a puddle like some kind of watery shrine?
A reference to a sinking ship maybe? Or is it the only way you lot get a wash?

As the person to blame for it, just in case you don't know Sunderland is on the NE coast ie. the SEAside.

We have everything in place to do nothing but float to the top, for example top Owner, top Chairman, top Manager.
If you don't get the reference to Blackcats walking on water there's no hope for you.
Shrine I will accept, the shrine to the top NE club.

Too big would prefer something more simple that does not cause my phone to crash when loading page. But new version does fit a good deal better.

There bye they are all the same size so it can't just be the Sunderland one causing you problems.
