He's supposedly taking a year out. He might be better off taking a job straight away at a promising club like Spurs though
Looking at the Spurs page on Newsnow and I have to wonder what Harman and Hunt have got to do with our club? Is it rhyming slang for one of our players?
Llorente's just scored what should be the winner against Sporting with minutes to go. Wasn't the prettiest but if anyone has a spare £30mill to buy him for us it'd be appreciated
Bilbao have won it. Well deserved but Sporting made it a great contest. As much as we've shown disdain for the Europa League I think it's been very watchable this year and the final against At. Madrid should be a cracker even if it is a domestic affair.
I'll just be wandering around Barcelona with a hessian bag, waiting for the perfect moment to capture Pep Guardiola and bring him to WHL...
It might not be rational or proportional but I hate Southampton and their muggy manager for not playing Falque. Even though I don't rate him very highly I was looking forward to being proven wrong about him.
Come to think of it, lee barnard dropped down the pecking order since he arrived - is their manager a militant Gooner?
Lee Barnard has huge personal problems which have affected his career at Southampton. He is actually immensely popular with their fans but his ongoing court case farce has affected him greatly. Not saying he would have been a first team regular this seaso, but there is no doubt Saints did the right thing in taking him out of the limelight.
There's an excellent article in The Observer this morning about the return of corruption in Italian football as well as the ultras becoming increasingly worrying in the way they're allowed to run riot across the stadium. http://www.guardian.co.uk/football/2012/apr/28/serie-a-violence-match-fixing And whilst I'm here another article about 'Arry and England: http://www.guardian.co.uk/football/blog/2012/apr/28/harry-redknapp-tottenham-england-fa
Italy really needs to deal with it's crowds. "In a bid to stamp out match-fixing next season, players will stand before fans and swear loyalty to their sides." Good luck with that one! Should make for some decent comedy, at least.
We should do it over here, though. It'd make great viewing after they all bugger off a few days later!
i recall when i had the 2000/01 version and Neil Fenne got me 46 goals that year and Denilson(the real one) was always available for not much more than 6 mill.
